  • Way rong with its house

  • Poor guy if that's his house, but beautiful snake you got!

  • What size tray are you keeping them in?

  • no heat tape on blood python rack??

  • Huge, gorgeous girl.

  • yea ths is a very nice blood, he lives!^^ i like them

  • whata fatty

  • Great job!!! You seem very informational. :)

    Beautiful snake.

  • What size tubs are those that you placed her in,

  • Gorgeous blood!

  • how would you tame a snake like that?

  • Pretty girl! We just got our first blood python today, and he's a little guy, underfed for the most part but we'll fix that soon enough :)

  • At one point I wanted a blood python, but I totally fell in love with burms, and got one of those instead...

  • Great video man,

  • @daytonaiscool1 First of all, that show is a bunch of sensationalist bullcrap. I've heard more correct facts on a bottle of snapple than on that show. Not a single snake I own could ever pose any threat to a human.

  • @HiImSteveDuh just messing with you i love your work thanks for all of the helpful videos

  • @HiImSteveDuh my girlfriend thinks my ball python can kill me haha

  • @daytonaiscool1 #1 blood pythons are not venomous, and that show is just a steaming pile of overblown manure. Give me a break.

  • @daytonaiscool1 It's Facial Attrations... idiot

  • are blood pythons always that thick, or is it because she is pregnant?

  • @Xenos369 Most of the time theyre not THAT fat, but they are thick snakes.

  • Good video. my only feed back is that it could have been longer. i would have watched more.... more tips:) Nice blood:)

  • So.. as far as I see, these snakes are the 'pitbulls' of the snake kingdom, made out to be monstrosities, but aren't exactly that, just a little hissy?

  • i have a baby blood python. He will strike at you when he is in his cage.Alos when he is being held he does not like anybody moving around him and will also strike at you.Is this blood just mean or are all baby bloods kinda moody and can be worked with? Please give me some advice if you can

  • @757snakeman As far as I can tell, all snakes are far more feisty when they are young.

  • what do you charge for just a normal sumatran red blood looking for a male

  • is that a normal blood.

  • Hey man, what size heat tape do you use for your ve175 rack and why type?

  • Gravid, shedding, and just treated for RI. I'm amazed she wasn't a bit more aggressive than that. +1 for plastic bin lid battle shields !

  • i have 3 snakes . 2 bald pythons and a redtail boa you can handle the boa but not the pythons theyre mean and will strike at u

  • @DivaDiva231 The correct name is Ball Python (Python Regius, or Royal Python) . Not Bald python. Ball Pythons are one of the tamest species of snakes there are. It is incredibly rare to see a mean ball python.

  • Hey what size tubing is that and where did you get that rack from? Also is there any kind of heat tape where therack is cause ima start breding bloods and want to know what to have and use for bloods. If yiu or anyone can tell me?

  • Yah that's a tap I do that with my African rock she can turn real nasty if she gets picked up with no warning.

  • what are those large tubs you keep the bloods in?

  • people be quite this guy knows what hes doing hes one of the best on youtube!

  • When did u smac it I watched it like 5 times y nevwr smacced it so that person is a dicchead

  • @SnakeBoss53 Do us all a favor, and go back to school and learn English before you comment on a video. I believe you mean smacked. And he didn't "smack" the snake. As has already been said, he tapped it to let it know "Hey, I'm here, and I'm about to pick you up."

  • you have any babies for sale

  • @8687mojo I have albinos for 350

  • @HiImSteveDuh Awesome, albino blood pythons, where do you live?

  • 0:14-0:16....

  • @1natureboy13 Thats not smacking, thats tapping the snake. It lets the snake know you are there. If I just run in and scoop her up, im absolutely going to get nailed. You tap the snake, let it know youre there so you dont surprise it. Bloods HATE being surprised and believe it or not, they can strike 10 times faster than she did in the video. That was more of a bluff strike.

  • Well when you smack the freaking thing like that.. Of course it'll bite..

  • @1natureboy13 This reply is going to come off as a bit harsh, but only because this is the third absolute sensless bullcrap comment I've had to deal with in the past 2 days and honestly I'm running out of patience. As I said in the video: the snake is upset because of it is in shed, with an RI, and is gravid. I never smack the snake. Im tired of kids who have NO experience thinking they know better. Until youve personally had to deal with a pissed blood, I dont much value your opinion

  • @HiImSteveDuh If it's gravid and has an RI, isn't that more reason to not smack it and piss it off more? Just doesn't make sense to me..

  • @1natureboy13 I never smack the snake....

  • @1natureboy13 u sir are an idiot have u even owned a snake befor i dont think so because if u do u should sell it to some 1 who knows what there doing plus he never smacked the snake he tapped it so that it knew its was there

  • hey what should i get a blood python or a carpet python. i am an experienced reptile keeper and currently gravid female red tail boa. i breed them. back to what i should get, i want something i can carry around and like just chill with and something that can get about nine feet. My mother has a strict rule of no snakes to get bigger than 9 feet so i want to get a snake that can get exactly that :o) ps: that little shithead up there ^ that said "GET THE FUCKING Lid blah bla" yeah, block his ass.

  • @ianmiscool6969 The lid is to protect me and my father (who knows nothing about snakes and was getting a bit too close) from getting bit. This videos are for informational, not entertainment purposes. THIS is how you deal with an angry blood python. Now If you ever comment obsenities on any of my videos again I will block and report you.

  • @HiImSteveDuh Bro sorry about that nasty comment. I never had a snake, and didn't look at the title, and knew you were handiling it. Sorry man. Question, I never had a pet snake. Do you think a blood python would be a good first time snake owner? I don't want a nasty snake, a snake that will eat me, posion me, or get out of its cage and suffocate me or my baby sister. Thanks! love the videos

  • @rseagles14 A blood python gets a bit too large and are a bit too delicate for a first pet snake. I would recomend a ball python as a first pet snake. They stay smaller, and pose no risk to anyone, and since their first line of defense is to roll into a ball, they rarely if ever bite.

  • @HiImSteveDuh haha thats what i hear all the time! my mom just.. she's afraid that it will get out of it's cage and eat my baby sister :S. please tell me what to do about that.

Question #2 what kind of snake is a rainbow snake? Is it iit's own? And is that a good pet?

  • @rseagles14 I always say the only way a ball python could suffacate you is if you ate it and choked on it. Ball pythons simply arnt big or strong enough to pose a risk to any sized human. Their head is about the size of a thumb. They honestly couldnt even take down a small bunny. Theyre made for killing mice and small rats. They just dont have the power for anything larger. And I think you mean rainbow boa, which are also more difficult and not for beginers.

  • @HiImSteveDuh ohhh ok! and thanks man sooo much! I mean it! your so nice, and great at this! can I sub to you? And can you sub to me? I'll message if i need more help! Ima show my dad that comment you just said, and show him that they arent dangerous. Again! thanks1!!

  • @rseagles14 My first snake was and still are my two awesome Burmese Pythons. They are 1 yr and 3 months old now they have been great. I say get whatever snake you like as long as you do research and are prepared for it. Trully to my opinion there is no such thing as a first time snake. Your either prepared or not.

  • @tuki1boo totally agreed. Guess what man1! I knwo you don't know me, lol but I feel like we could be friends, or whatever. I bought a -

    Ball Python (2 month old)

Snow Corn Snake (2 years old)

and a California King snake (8 months old)

The Cal king snake musks all the time..and nips at me.

I'm getting a brazilian rainbow boa in a month or two :D

  • @rseagles14 Yes we can be friends thats why I am here on Youtube to share my vids and to make friends. Add me if you already hadn't or I'll add you. I am going to have some awesome vids up in the future of my huge Vivarium for my Burms and I am trying to gather up people so they can see how amazing it's going to be.

  • @tuki1boo ok , but answer my questions? lol.

  • @rseagles14 what questions?

  • @tuki1boo oo sorry, i wanted to ask .... what do i need for a rainbow boa? is this good...

mist him down four times a day

have a heat pad (reaches 100 degress)

feed once a week (depending on size the amount of food)

jst one heat pad in the corner, with water bowl in oppisite?

Logs for hide awyay, fake leaves, etc.

  • @tuki1boo also, how is a red tail boa snake, for someone who only has a ball python, king snake, and corn snake? my mom said yes to a rainbow boa, so is the red tail like.. idk how to exsplain it, are red tails better saftey wise then rainbow, so i can tell my mom that?

  • @rseagles14 Well I thought you were getting a blood Python? I say as long as you can take care of them for the rest of their lives then cool. But I wouldn't get to many snakes to start off with two is good. As far as what tail is better I say get them as babies and raise it up. But you have to do research to find out specifics. You have to get a snake that suits you and your life style.

  • @tuki1boo nvm my mom said no to the blood, and red taill... to big.... I want a good python/ boa. Something good size. No more then 5 feet. Any suggestions?

  • How much time a day does it take u to look after all the reptiles?

  • where do you get your rack and tubs from ???

  • I despise the use of those containers as housing. I know they're more practical for breeders but clearly the snakes don't like them either. I have 5 snakes, 2 are rainbow boas, and 1 is a blood and none of them are aggressive. They can get in the water when they want, climb when they want. Hide when they want. And i can put my hand in the cage when i want and not get bit because they are content

  • @DrawingBW shes not aggressive because of the cage..... shes aggressive because shes ovulating, and has a respritory infection, and is in shed. You take a pregnant lady with a cold and bad vision, and its understanding why she isnt buckets of sunshine. None of my other 20 blood pythons (kept in same containers) are aggressive. Or any other snakes for that matter. Except the yellow anacondas, but theyre just a pissy species.

  • WOW that is one huge snake! cool video man!

  • aw she is so cute and big i hope she's feeling better and had happy baby snakes

  • Awsome snake to bad shes like that I hope shes better now!

  • What size tubs are those big ones you put the blood in?

  • You are using the fogger with F10 right ?

  • @crazebon3sz its actually KAZ inhalent steam medication. But i doubt the brand really matters

  • Hey Steve what is the name of that vapor rub or would you recommend the eucalyptus alone I have heard about this home cure. And was in need for a Retic

  • @BrooklynBoas its actually KAZ inhalent steam medication.

  • What sings did she show that she had a RI? Then what do you put in with the water in the fogger as treatment?

Also how long is she in there, for like and hour? And for how many days in a row?

  • @rephibiankid just some lsight sniffles. In the water is actually KAZ inhalent steam medication. 20 minutes a day, for however until it goes away.

  • So sorry to hear that your snake has an RI, that really sucks. Bloods are very misunderstood, everyone thinks that they are just mean. I think they are pretty awesome snakes.

  • I have a Brazilian Rainbow Boa and it is never happy with me and it always strikes at me for no apparent reason. I have everything necessary for a snake to live and thrive, and its still pissy at me. I also want to find out the sex of it but cant probe it and all of the local pet stores say that it will "kill" the snake. I NEED HELP!!!!

  • Were do you buy the shelvs for the vc-175 tubes and wold that be big enuf for a adult carpet python pleas help?

  • @carpetpython23 yea, its big enough for carpets

  • I'm really considering building a rack like the one you have the blood python in. Would you reccomend using a rack like that?

  • @ILUVREPTILES1 they work pretty well. It just depends on your preference.

  • Is that a nebulizer or a terrarium fogger you're using as a nebulizer? Also, are you doing an antibiotic treatment as well? What humidity do you keep you're bloods at normally and when they have an RI? I have a baby black blood that is getting ab treatment and can't figure out if it is due to too low of humidity or too high. I have been keeping her in the 50-60% range lately and letting her soak on her own. Seems to be helping. I think the substrate was too damp when I first got her. Thx

  • @mattuwo It took me a few weeks to successfully transfer from individual cage heating to full room heating to completly stabalize. She got it during then when the temp dropped. I use the terrarium fogger and put a capfull of this vapor rub. I forget the name, but basically it has eucalyptis oil in it. They go in sniffling, come out breathing fine. Repeat treatment every few days, and it goes away.

  • @HiImSteveDuh Appreciate it. Do you feel like the 50-60% range is too low if they soak themselves and get a boost in the 70-75% range once every day or so? VPI seems to believe the humidity is a little too high in most cages?

  • @mattuwo I honestly dont even measure humidity. Its in the 50ish range if i had to guess. I keep my bloods just like VPI. When i see them going into shed, i will flip over their water dishes on the newspaper. And theyll almost always have a perfect shed. Besides that I never even measure humidity with bloods. People deffinetly keep them too moist.

  • @HiImSteveDuh Thanks again, yeah I would definetly agree with the too moist. There's a lot of different information out there but I have been using VPI's care sheet as my "official" care sheet too. Keep up the good work. Look forward to more Blood videos!
