  • You may enjoy this. Bishop Sheen had a weekly program when I was a kid and we were glued to the TV. these are the types of priests we had then - boy has the church changed. It's definitely worth watching the whole series.

  • Anyone who could think that this sucks ought to re-evaluate why they think it sucks. Does it suck because it is true and you just can't bear to hear the truth? Does it fail to speak to you because it conveys a message of Joy, Peace, Hope and Christian Faith? Or does it make you have to think and thinking is not an activity that you care to do? Why does this suck? What does Archbishop Sheen say that sucks to you? To many he converted to the faith what he says brings great comfort. God Bless You!

    I know exactly what you mean...and I was thinking about him and his TV program, and I thought, wait a minute...this was the first time ever that a religious leader had his own TV show...He was the first televangelist! Why can't modern televangelists inspire people the way Fulton Sheen did?

  • Father John Corapi. He's on EWTN, usually around 5:30-6:00. He's pretty close to Archbishop Sheen -- in fact he is directly influenced by this great man.

  • "Father" Corapi believes that homosexuality is a mental disorder. He is also Novus Ordo. I could go on, but just those two points are enough to make Bishop Sheen slap him.
