@liviTHfan I hit my ride cymbal in a way that makes it become a nice thick crashy sound...kind of hard to explain. I do this when I play drums in church when a song needs to be super pounding. Sometimes an open hi-hat doesn't give the song enough "power" in my mind, so I turn to the ride and hit it in a certain way. It works awesome:) I hope you liked it.
