Who Would You Pick Rick Rubio or Kyrie Irving.....(1/20/12)

kyrie is now shooting 52% and 40 he gets 17 points a game in 27 minutes he has a higher PER then lebron his rookie year he gets more points with better percentage then lebron and 10 less minutes. i an see choosing rubio though cause he gets everyone involved but kyrie could get everyone involved

hes not a much better defender ...rubio gets more steals thats it ...but kyries assists and steals will def be going up ...kyrie is a futuristic pg in the mold of cp3!!! rubio is nice be he not on kyries level of athletism and scoring ...and kyries range is crazy from outside ....im done with you good day !!!!

@daddykong1 A gettin steals is playing defense right? Kyrie being a mold of CP3 lol thats saying a lot. CP3 first year stats looking better then Kyrie's so far. I'm no hating on Kyrie i know he will be a great player he's showing it but like you said he's only goin to get better. Bright future for him i just hope the Cavs put the right player around him unlike they did for Lebron

i like them both a lot. but id say in the long haul, kyrie irving because he can do everything and he will continute to become more explosive, and hard to say how much rubio will get better. I just think Kyrie would be safer

@aaronschainm A i feel you on that good point i think Kyrie passing and just whole game will get better and the same thing with Knight i think he's goin to have a big impact on the NBA in a few years. The thing i love about Rubio he's a pass first, score second kind of player but you have a good point on this one for sure

@daddykong1 well i guess no one in the NBA plays good D because Rubio is leading the NBA in total steals Knight hasnt done anything this year really, good player but hanot down what Rubio has done and Kyrie is no where to be found in the top 25 is steals so idk about your statement here. I think Rubio is a true point guard Kyrie and Knight there very good scores but true point guards idk

@daddykong1 Did you hear me say the Rubio was better the Kyrie...no what i said was i would want Rubio to be my point guard over Kyrie because Rubio is your classic NBA PG....never said Rubio was better but one think i know is he's a much better passer, rebounder and defender. Yeah Kyrie drop 32 tonight good but did his team get the Win...nope so it doesn't matter really

This is very good video.I followed Ricky's carrer when he was playing for Juventud and Barcelona.He is the most talented player in Europe.Minnesota needs player like Rubio because they have classic shooter and rebounder.In my opinion Rubio is useful,and I chose Ricky

@DonShone1994 Wow really thats was up yeah man he's a talent honestly i did think he would be so good so fast but i guess if you look at it he's been laying pro ball since he was 15 lol so thats one thing he has over most the rookies. I would pick Rubio but i think Irving goin to be Rookie of The Year just because of his numbers and we all know when it comes to the Rockie Of The Year Award its almost all about the players numbers then about what the team is doing. Now if your puttin up numbers and your team is hooping then your almost a lock over someone who's just puttin up number

Always quality information each vid, Rubio would be the way to go now but since both candidates are so high in basketball IQ its hard to know how good both will be and how both will eventually become what type of players. Irving has the facial expression of OJ Mayo, lets hope he doesn't decline like Mayo tho..

I'd take Rubio over Irving only because of his ability to pass, which I think is crucial in a PG. You touched on his main problem which is his turnovers, and I think as he gets older and more mature, he'll hopefully lower it, or balance out his assists per turnovers.

@TheLakerKingdom Yeah i think thats what it is he needs time i think his turnovers will come down plus the NBA game is a lil faster then overseas so he has to get use to that even though i feel like he's almost there. Im surprised he's shooting as good as he is now because everyone said he couldnt shoot but really he doesnt take that many shots but 42% isnt that bad i want to see it around 50%. But he'll get there soon

Kevin Love is the 4th best scorer in the league so far averaging 25+ and 14 rebounds.

so even though Love is not your typical "true" scorer, he deffinatly gets it done. also Michael Beasley when healthy and locked in is a very good scorer as well, especially one on one. but i agree Minnesota should get a good scoring SG

Yes yes yes a SG is what they need or maybe next year put Westley Johnson at SG and let Derrick Williams take over at SF....that's how it should be honestly cus Johnson is a SG not a SF if you ask me

Plus Rubio is on a team that fits him cus he doesn have to score a lot of point because of Love who's 4th in scoring i believe. Thanks lot for watching and leaving a comment

They're both great but as a longtime (1989) TWOLVES fan i'm sure happy we fell to #2 in the draft. Ricky is on the perfect team for his skills. It's amazing how he was making highlight reels in his first game. His turnovers will go down when he better understands all of his teamates - he literally has hit his teammates directly in the face twice - the klove one is on youtube. Attendance has went from dismal to like 14th in the league. Happy to see WOLVES,cavs,clippers playing well.

Yeah i think Rubio is on the right team and honestly i think he has more of a talented team then Irving does. The Timberwolves have been in all there games this year.
