@x12desolateone Its my personal opinion that magick was necessary pre-christ being born. If you think about the old testament, Jehovah is a God to be feared; but he also forgave the Jews for some pretty bad sins (worshiping the calf, Arron's line still becomes the preists and David & Bathseba are 2 examples). So I think Christ was there all along as Jehovah, and he needed the uncorrupted bloodline in order to manifest on earth. The bible spells out the lineage from David to Jesus pretty well.

The Bible is the inspired word of God, not the direct word of God. The contexts of history are different from the modern times, so you can't expect a peaceful approach to life during times of constant war and plagues. Plus people had different mind sets back then, and it's our job to know what is literal or figurative in the Bible (in this case, killing your child is not the way to go, they probably killed their independence by confining them to the house or some other method)

I would consider black magic a form of magic used to journey into the nightside of the human consciousness. Similar to how the night removes the normal things we see in daylight, making us see the stars in the sky. The black magic exposes us to hidden knowledge about our existence.
It's not designed to be an entirely positive experience, but instead focus on facing all aspects of life, including negative things. This will allow us to learn and understand those forces within ourselves to become stronger as individuals.

If you think about the old testament, Jehovah is a God to be feared; but he also forgave the Jews for some pretty bad sins (worshiping the calf, Arron's line still becomes the preists and David & Bathseba are 2 examples). So I think Christ was there all along as Jehovah, and he needed the uncorrupted bloodline in order to manifest on earth. The bible spells out the lineage from David to Jesus pretty well.

The Bible is the inspired word of God, not the direct word of God. The contexts of history are different from the modern times, so you can't expect a peaceful approach to life during times of constant war and plagues. Plus people had different mind sets back then, and it's our job to know what is literal or figurative in the Bible (in this case, killing your child is not the way to go, they probably killed their independence by confining them to the house or some other method)

@apotredudiable According to the God he worshipped, it WAS wrong. He specifically told him not to practice spiritism in any form. If these formulas indeed came from Solomon, it must have been during the time when he was pulled away from his worship of God to the hundreds of wives' gods'.

hahah you're cute. No respectable worker would summon a demon for the pure entertainment of someone. You obviously have never worked with any of the demons because you would know that they can get seriously pissed if you call them out of pure curiosity. And no, demons don't ALWAYS show themselves in visible form. You have no knowledge in this field. Before writing such garbage, you should probably inform yourself more.

LOL yeah okay. According to people like Imperial Arts on livejournal and others that have copied his methods, the demons do show up in visible form and there is no need to scry or use a black mirror. You can see them like you see any other person. That's the whole point of working the Solomonic system. It's different than the astral evocation found in books like PME and Summoning Spirits.

No. Those people might call themselves black magicians but they are just a bunch of disturbed and unbalanced individuals who practice magic. They don't even deserve to be called magicians if they need to dominate and drain the energy from others. Only weak magic users need to drain energy from others. Real black magicians focus on spiritual growth.

I would consider black magic a form of magic used to journey into the nightside of the human consciousness. Similar to how the night removes the normal things we see in daylight, making us see the stars in the sky. The black magic exposes us to hidden knowledge about our existence.

Actually those individuals probably don't have much when it comes to understanding. So we can call them whatever we want as long as we know they are just disturbed people, not individuals interested in knowing themselves better. That's what separates them from black magicians in my opinion.

@Grayhatt correct me if im wrong but Solomon didn't write this...the author just used his name because of Solomon's seals and his supposed control over spirits. Solomon was supposedly only able to command the demons because it was done in God's name. im sorry if i misunderstood you and assumed you dont believe in right and wrong, i got that impression. im a human bean.

@DoctorSess You are correct. However it is based on the supposition that Solomon did indeed control demons as you mentioned--with these 'seals'. In fact even Josephus wrongly alluded to the same ritualistic practice in his documented history of Jewish Antinquities, and attributed to Divine origin.

If you want to talk about "Christian" teachings then you must look at the Scriptures where they originated both the Hebrew and Greek. It definitely shows and indicates "magick" and prayer are not the same thing according to the one that *created* prayer.

i would leave it out however i have reason to belive these deviants (the powers that be) do horrible things to children, including sacrificing them as part of rituals. from what i've gathered the two are connected. i wasnt trying to say that magic and pedophilia are always connected but from the accounts of victims that i've been reading the two have been connected by very evil forces in our world. i was trying to understand if this is actually a part of some of this ritual magic.
