I am nearly age 44 single for the first time since age 10 i am totally free of endo . Please see my video to see my progess 4 ports apporx 4 hours surgery maybe less not sure home THE SAME DAY ..thanks

  • I'm living in pain. Endometriosis is a asshole. Messing up entire life.

  • Question stacygallagher, when the endo was on organs such as your kidney and bladder, did you get hydronephrosis?

  • @jdixson31My wife had excision surgery for endo performed on Thursday. A few days later she was having severe pain associated with her kidney. Come to find out, it was because of hydronephrosis. The doctors can't figure out why she had a narrowing in her ureter. Does this mean she will need ANOTHER surgery to fix the ureter and hydronephrosis? Do you think she still has endometriosis in her kidney/ureter?

  • @TheTeresaRaef Yes , they are going to have to reroute her ureter. Do I think she has it in her kidney or ureter, no. I have the same condition. It is only on the outside blocking the organs. Hopefully things are better once she has her ureter rerouted, and her kidney soon after functions well. You all are in my prayers.

  • wow fasinating this was amazing to see, my procedure was identical! except it was on my kidney & bladder rather than the bowel, i too have stage4 endo its on all my reproductive organs, kidney, bladder and urethra also multiple organs were bound with extensive adhesions. at least i now know why it felt like i had been kicked by a horse when the morphine wore off lol. endometriosis is a vial disease! i now take drugs daily to try keep its aggresion at bay & i'm waiting for more surgery xx

  • what happened to the audio instruction of this video?

  • ....hopefully in next couple of years. Endometriosis has a hold over my life, can't work, can't play!! If anyone wants to chat or sound off about this arse of a disease please get in touch. Best of luck to you all. Claire xxx

  • Absolutely fasinating footage.I live in England & was diagnosed at 18.11 Laporoscopies and 3 Spinal blocks later i still have bad pain every day.Take Morphine most days with another 4 prescriptions for pain relief.Been on lots of hormone trmts.Have had 3 courses of Zoladex (not sure what the US equivalent is) over the years.Am 33 now and finally with a partner who's very supportive.Luckily my fertility seems not to be effected.Once i'm off my med's will have baby then have pelvic clearence....

  • um, i have a question, i have to go through laparoscopy to find out if i have endometriosis or not, most likely i do, my question is, if the results come as we think and in the laparoscopy they find endometriosis, do i go through this procedure at the moment?? what are the side effects and possible complications to this?? i'm only 19 years old...

  • @MGiulia192 I was diagnosed at age 21 (I'm now 49) after years of pain. Diagnosed by laparoscopy. Went on hormonal treatment for 6 months and it helped alot!! Had hysterectomy at 40 (just got tired of it all) and kinda regret the hysterectomy. If you ever are faced with that decision please try to hold off as long as you can. The older you are the easier it is for you to adjust. Of course, if you can't stand it, then your doc my advise this down the line.

  • @Kathylouu Why do you regret the hysterectomy? Didn't it help with the pain? I thought it gets worse as you get older? Do you feel cured? I want a hysterectomy.

  • @DotsVoiceStudios Going to be blunt cause I want to help. It did get rid of pain. However, if you have uterine contraction orgasms, you will not have those anymore. You can have upper vaginal ones but it took me a few years & not as strong as uterine. If you have clitorial orgasms (I had and still have those) that is good.& they may get stronger. I was under lots of stress at the time of operation & did seem to have some trouble adjusting mentally (hormones? IDK) but pain is gone.

  • @Kathylouu There is a shift in thinking (kinda like that fog some get when I was pregnant) for awhile.I also experienced a surge of energy. All the energy that was focused on my endo problems was now freed up to go elsewhere. I was full of energy! Without pain. My body temp changed (I was once very cold natured) & have not been since operation. I did not have a supportive partner, that made it worse. Anyway, the body changes & this is why I suggest waiting but if in pain, I'd get it done.

  • @Kathylouu If you are in such pain, your life is seriously affected, I would get it done but know that it takes a good year to adjust. Also, if you do not have a supportive partner, I'd suggest getting one. The body is affected in different ways so I suggest waiting it out as close to age 50 if you can, that would be when the body naturally changes. Even if you keep ovaries, they usually shut down after 5 years of operation. If you can keep one, then do though, it will help a little.

  • @Kathylouu But with most endo problems it is suggested to remove both ovaries. If that is done, I'd go on Hormone Therapy (it helps tremendously!!!!!!) would not even bother with making a decision, also if go on just estrogen you will feel better and it is not as dangerous. They can give you a little testosterone to help with sex drive, but I did not really like testosterone. One great benefit I experienced was with the estrogen I have great breasts (first time in my life!)

  • @MGiulia192 I've had 3 laparoscopies. I'm also on a continuos birth control pill which means I don't take a week off to have my period. In fact, I haven't had a real period in 8 years! I actually like it that way lol. But you definitely need to stay on the pill or some kind of hormonal therapy after the scope surgery because hormones are the only way to curb the endometriosis growth. If you're in the New England area, check out Dr. Laufer at Children's Hospital in Boston.

  • can somebody put some doom metal music to this?

  • The thing that angers me is...we keep getting told it's HORMONAL...CRAMPS ARE NOT HORMONAL. Severe endometriosis should never happen to us. Thats what happened to me......they can catch it before it gets this severe.

  • what did you use as a adhesion prevention measure?

  • Hi . im am a 42 year old lady . I had diagnosis of reto-vaginal at the time of my first keyholesurgery last year having it without knowlege all my life . It worked and it was bad i had PID through it ..i went on the pill a couple of weeks ago i have my fertility i had 4 adhesions i can have have children the pill was to slow egg production ...so you can recover periods fertily after PIDcysts and fibriod and reto surgery ..thank you dont worry ladies ...

  • @pagslucyloo I must add though i stopped taking cerezette because it made me ill will upset stomach ..so im witing for my regular period of every 26 days to return . there is every hope ..im not young and i was seriously ill in the past ...however i have 70 per cent better quality of life ..there is a little bit of endo left at the end of the bowel ..chosen to take that it was in my pelvis bladder and mainly rectum i deloped a limp after.straight after surgery two later i walked again .

  • Most radical treatment for endometriosis I've ever seen. I really like to know the end result ( pelvic adhesions and future fertility ) of this patient.

  • I am having surgery for endometriosis and ovarian cysts next month, I fear that I will be a complex case like this one!...ugh.

  • good job but what about the rectum ?

  • what is the bule water call?
