ISDB-T Japanese Digital TV

ISDB-T is good but needed fixes, and Brazil did just that. Now Japan needs to upgrade ;)

ISDB-Tb removed B-CAS DRM ("copy protection"); allowed 30fps in 1seg (instead of 15fps) and can use h264/he-aac with all modes (12/8/4/1 seg). Interactive software replaced with open source Ginga (procedural/declarative) instead of BML (declarative only). Transmitter mask adapted for adverse conditions.

All of South America (except Colombia) has adopted ISDB-Tb, also Philippines, maybe Thailand.

I'm lived in the Philippines and that digital television format was adopted here! I love ISDB!

@cjvrd estúpido la DVB-T es una cagada a comparación de la nipo-brasileña lo que pasa es que no se a desplegado a gran escala, pero cuando se termine de efectuar el apagón van a ver la cerrada de orto que la va a dar la ISDB-T ala mierda de DVB-T.
