@TheFuturemarine2010 its really a drivers race. not much different between a ss and a Z. hood, spoiler, sway bar and shocks. depends also if you got the 1LE package. GM also underrated the hell outta the LS cars. last production years for the maro power is really closer to 380-390. un-modded. mine has about 330 at the wheels.

The3 lopey affect is causeed by the cam and the timing. Other than that the sound and the tone are from the Borla exhaust.

The TSP 1-7/8th aren't that great. You'll see like 1-3hp more than the Pacesetter 1-3/4ths. They have poor fitment too, not to mention they are very tightly fitted in there. If you're going to go with 1-7/8th Kooks are your best bet.

umm a dyno tune is anywhere from 300-500 or more depending on shop

what i meant was; aftermarket cams usually don't run too well without a proper tune. so the $500 you said for the cam and springs etc is not actually $500. its more like that plus the cost of a tune. unless you dont need one. i dont know, im just going by past experience on other cars.

you should replace it with a better one, 12 bolt or 9", especially if your car is a 6spd. you can find a used 10 bolt for probably around $200 though.

it depends on what route you go. you could buy a used rear end for about 300, or you could do it right a buy a 9" or 12 bolt, but that would run you about 2000

i got that exact same exhaust on my camaro. its a v6 so it sounds nice until u rev it up too high then it sounds like a little rice car. gettin an ls1 swap sumtime next year though. That SS sounds sweet by the way
