Just saw this movie last night. WASTE OF MONEY.. wait til this movie shows up on Sci-Fi to watch it. Me & my boyfriend ended up walking out of the movie theatre with 30 minutes left to go. He fell asleep, and the old man behind us was snoring. Why was this storyline even made into a movie? It was rediculously boring! Ugh.

Good review overall, it WAS a good movie and the docu-style was a little too much. But it was a refreshing return to good filmmaking and good storytelling.

Okay, District 9: the story's stupid, it pisses me off that it's just another sequel setup rather than a movie in it's own right and you care about the characters about as much as you do the gum under your seat. BUT, it's still very much worth seeing. Why? Three words: Gratuitous Human Liquefactions. The sheer joy you feel at watching humans turn to liquid cannot be understated! I'm contemplating seeing it again!

I literally started cheering everytime someone went jelly.
