Anyone who hates on hybrids is a douche in my book. If every person in the world drove a gas guzzling car/truck that gets 15 mpg, fossil fuels would have already been gone a long time ago. Sorry we can't all be so "macho" because we actually care about the environment. Why even make fun of a car or the people who drive it? It's not even funny.

This is a detail but what is wrong with hybrids? It seems to me that as Christians we are called to be stewards of the earth and that includes taking care of the environment!

@777eaglesoar I'm afraid I left out a Scripture that is most helpful to you in this situation. It was staring me right in the face and I didn't think to share it with you: Romans 14. Go read it now and when you are done, apply it to your life. The Bible is not something that we can use our lives to measure it's worth, but what we ought to transform our lives and thinking to be like (I've said that better before but you get the idea). Keep growing!

I see that you are patient person, possibly one striving to do the "right" thing, as far as morals go, and that you have a teachable heart. I don't mean to offend, but am just noting that many people who question religion or faith-systems are often times angry, embittered, or just looking for a fight. It's up to you to decide where you stand, but I'm willing to be the theist who doesn't run away.

Sure go ahead. I think I am unpersuaded but persuadable but let me be clear about what I think that means, I want clear physical evidence, at the very least a good reason, I'm even willing to entertain a decent argument, for why I should believe in other people's gods. Know that to date in all my conversations with Christians of all flavours asking for those things I've heard not one. I don't think it unreasonable, if god exists, for those to be forthcoming. BTW not offended.

SHAME ON YOU for calling down shame on someone else, especially a non-believer. here is a man who is trying to find God using what God gave him—his mind—and you are putting him down for it. Don't you remember Eph 5:1-21? You are responsible for you. They who are in the darkness cannot be brought out without the HS in them. Also, Jude 1:9.

Re: "overwhelming credibility" - a question, I'm just curious, have you actually read the bible? I ask becuase if there was a set of words I'd associate with people who had, describing it as "overwhelming credible" wouldn't be it.

I don't get this either: it only makes sense if you believe it already. How does that even begin to make sense?

@richardhealy I feel sorry for you. Read your Bible, assuming you have one, from cover to cover and get on your knees and "truly" ask the Lord into your heart. If your life does not change, I would be truly amazed. A life without the Messiah is a very sad one indeed. You sound angry and unhappy and my heart goes out to you. I hope you find the peace that the Lord can give you.

We can be thankful that Jesus has raised up another to carry on and remind us of His teaching. The Christian Church as a whole has lost touch with the truth and the essence of what Jesus taught us during his life among us. People have become blinded by tradition and as Pastor Mark has said in another video, they start to worship their tradition rather than Jesus or our Father in heaven.

I want to believe as many true things as possible. That's easy. Believe everything. And so it comes with a corollary - I want to believe as few falsehoods as possible. How? I want to be convinced with evidence. Are you not concerned with what is true?

This video is speaking specifically to Christian men - it is not relevant in the same way to unbelievers because they don't believe the words of the Bible. Yes, unbelievers can act as Christian men, but that's not the point of this video. He is addressing Christian men and telling them how they're supposed to act according to the Bible. And the hybrid comment was a joke, lighten up.
