Deliverance Ministry is needed and is good for, what the Church refers to as "Minor" Exorcisms. However for a true possession a true Exorcist is needed and they can only come from the True Church because there is where the authority of Jesus is, through Apostolic Succession.

I did enjoy Father Martin's book & thoughts, which I find sound. However, having participated in several "deliverance" or "exorcism" encounters, I have not witnessed the kinds of manifestations described in his book or in Hollywood. It's not to say that these things can't or do not happen, but the attitude of the person experiencing deliverance - their receptivity to the process and submission to the work of God, can greatly DECREASE this kinds of activity. Dangerous to get fascinated with this

With all due respect to you and your ministry, you are confusing "Deliverance Ministry" with "Exorcism". Although exorcism is in fact deliverance, "Deliverance" is not necessarily "Exorcism". Deliverance Ministry is needed and is good for, what the Church refers to as "Minor" Exorcisms. However for a true possession a true Exorcist is needed and they can only come from the True Church because there is where the authority of Jesus is, through Apostolic Succession.

St. Joseph Communications has an excellent DVD available, "Interiew With An Exorcist." The priest is Fr. Jose Antonia Fortea. He has the first ever PhD in Exorcism (Exorcism in the Present Age). It's probably available online, it is really good if you are interested in learning more about the topic of possession and what can open the door to such things.

Demons and the devil are created beings. They have the same creator as we do-God. You can't have an intelligent discussion about those topics without including God and Jesus Christ. There is a history there. To deny it shows what spirit you have. But the truth is still there, regardless.

Actually, Lucifer and Satan are two functions of the same force within human nature. The part of Humanity that has the urge to destroy, and the part that deceives. It is human, it is a archetype within, like a 'god' or 'gods', but it's all just archetypal potentials existent within man itself that is charged with life, activity. The story of 'the devil' is a story of the ego rebelling against the Self by proclaiming it's own individuality from the whole. The 'devil' is man. Period.

First, Lucifer/Satan are the same entity not different. notice that archangels have 7 letters (Gabriel,Michael,Lucifer) Lucifer fell from Heaven (Isa 14:12)Its written that Satan "entered" (i.e. possessed) Judas in part with Jesus Christs betrayal (i.e. Judas betrayed God like Lucifer did)

Wrong. Lucifer was mistakenly associated with Satan, but if you study the book of Enoch and those lists of angels, you'll see they are separate beings, or maybe the book of Enoch already makes this mistakes. Remember "Satan" is an adjective first and foremost, and there's only one instance in the Bible where it is a noun. It means "enemy".
