braces are free in the uk but it not free if your over 18

@termze But they give you crap ones often, the ones that require a lot of visits and screw adjustion, whilst the one which is payed is made of metal which contracts so no need for screws

@BeckyForTheLULs The metal ones (free ones) hurt like fuck. Everytime they tighten the wires by adjusting the screws, your jaw will hurt for atleast a week. And same thing every month cause dont forget you need more visits.

I think paying thousands for braces is ridiculous, I glad I got them for free.

@BeckyForTheLULs I guess it depends what type they give to you. I had horrible ones. Every month I was in pain for 2 weeks, could only eat blended soups. And when the pain had stopped, in about 2 weeks I had to go through the pain over again, and same thing for 2 years.. =/

the best kind of braces are traditional metal braces...... invisalign takes longer and metal braces are fun to play with.... trheyre also cheaper... i hvae them : )

Invisalign, if you can afford it. If not, just the usual metal braces. They say the ceramic type is too brittle and is not good, although not as visible.
