Suvanabhumi is the top airport in SEA. very clean and user friedly.

You can easily maneuver this airport even a first timer .

It is much better than HK

I love the feeling you get when the plane arrives and the aircraft doors to the tunnel open and the heat and climate hits you. Thats when it really begins and you know you`ve arrived. Welcome to paradise : ) airport is completely hastle free and logical flowing. No problems at all. Buses waiting for you outside.

Sorry to say this but anyone who hasn`t been before, leaving thailand is the worst feeling you can experience. Cant prepare yourself for it.

I 2nd that..

The 1st time me and my friends landed in Bangkok it was pissing down with rain but when we got outside the heat was unreal, i hate leaving Thailand even when i was stranded for 9 nights due to the unrest Nov/Dec 08 i was still sad to leave, im back over in 6 weeks time and i cant wait..i get to Thailand twice a year now April then November, im there in October for a wedding..(Not Mine).

@19bootsy68 No,No,No...im home now...2 hours in the Royal Silk Lounge, 6 hours on Qatar airways to Doha, 3:30 hours in the Qatar Premium Lounge in Doha, 6 hour 10 minute flight from Doha to London Heathrow 2 hour wait at London Heathrow 1 hour flight from Heathrow to Newcastle with British airways and a 15 minute taxi ride.. :(

dont go to bangkok. its not worth it. its too big, some parts of the terminal are either too hot or too cold and the color of the whole place is a boring dull gray. they spent all that money and time and still couldnt get it right

i was in bush's airport houston texas and the airport there was a dull gery too but i enjoyed it and enjoyed the shops the airport had to offer. they had some nice things there.

i dont look too much for color.

i would still love to go to bangkok, hong kong, tokyo, beijing,shanghai, and other asian airports because a lot of them are really good!

ur convincing people not to visit bangkok all because of its airport? its not like in the whole city there is only an airport to see. bangkok is shopping paradise, a unique city with a great combination of the old and modern architecture, an exciting multicultrual city. if u said that then obviously u didn't see anything in bangkok at all, all u saw was the airport

The Airport is very nice and good...but i hope when more people come...they dont have traffic problems like Don Muang...it is the old Airport from bangkok...there was the traffic very terrible...

i was at this airport for 6 hours once. I entertained myself by walking up and down the length of the intl terminal. Took me an hour and a half each time.

Are there lots of Thai soldiers and police guards walking around it patrolling ? That airport is such a perfect target for Southern Islamic insurgents from Pattani and Yala etc. I will be so careful when I visit that airport. They could do a Car bomb style attack, like the one that failed in london.

Changi's in a different league from Suvarnabhumi. I flew from Changi to Suvarnabhumi on October 4th and nobody knew what was going on, i'm afraid Singapore wins every time on all accounts, and especially when comparing airlines
