  • you guys are idiots... look at the right wall of the tank... its a divider... the tanks probably really large...

  • THATS CRUELTY!!!! HOW CAN YOU KEEP THOSE POOR FISH IN THAT LITTLE TANK!!!! WHATS WRONG WITH YOU?????

  • this tank looks like the los Angeles County Jail!!!!!! lmaol

  • 0.0

  • I have goldfish and I will NOT sell my fish and go so many fish in such a small aquarium! How can you get yourself to that??! Poor fish!

  • these boys dont have much room to get past each other

  • I like how it looks like, but really the tank should be much bigger.

  • 10/20 gallon per gold fish are are for people that are lazy and does one water change every week and have underpowered filters.

  • They're pretty but as a someone who also keeps goldfish, I can tell you that tank is over stocked. They don't have much room to swim and many of those are going to get bigger. It isn't a matter of having a great filter...You wouldn't keep that many catfish together would you? No, it isn't nice. And yes, the gulping for air at the surface means they are distressed and searching for more oxygen. The air gulping can cause them a lot of health problems...

  • please tell me where u got them ranche. i really want one so freaking bad!!!

  • very very nice, whatever for that overstock

  • the reason everyone says 10 gal per gold fish is cuz gold fish have no stomach which causes them to need to eat alot more, which makes them crap in the water creating more amonia than ur average fish. this is why theres an un written rule about 10 gal per goldfish. u can counter this with a very fast filter.

  • all the haters stfu u idiots it nice and it isnt that overcrowded so leave em alone nd go sort your own lives out ye like suckin yer mas vagg

  • 10-20 gallon per gold fish?

fuck you, are you on drugs or a fucking fish PETA?

I have been keeping goldfish for over 20 years, 1cm = 1 litre, so an adult fish, say 15cm only needs 15 litres, a 90L tank can easily keep 4 adult gold fish, provided you have 10x capacity filter (90L tank needs a 900L/hr filter) and air pump.

  • 10-20g per fish O_O some people are on crack lmao

  • RIP all fish!!!!!!!

  • whoa, crowded :(

  • Eggfish, ryukins, hama nishikis, ranchus! Drool! Also, if you guys look to the far right of the video, you'll see a divider there, meaning the tank is bigger than it appears :)

  • good lord how many gallons is that? if I were a fish in there I'd kill myself lol FISH HOARDER! *PUTS U IN INTERVENTION*

  • In the time it took to watch this video of overcrowded goldfish I did this: Set up a tripod; shot a fishtank video; and uploded this video.

  • poor fishes

  • overstocked tank but good call with the bubble thing, that should keep them alive longer.

  • guys just so you know this could be a show tank not their permanent home

  • i'm still conducting experiments on common (comet) and fancy goldfishes. 3 fancy goldfish (lion head, red cap orlanda and a ryukin) and 1 comet goldfish in a 55 aquarium with a 75g aquaclear and 3 fancy+1 Common goldfish in a less than 7 gallons BUCKET for more than half a year now. i do water change once every 2 weeks at the same time for both set up. results: the ones in the bucket is 2x if not 2.5X the size of the ones in the 55g set up and more colorful. so you tell me what they need?

  • Oh I miss my FAT golden fish, she always made me feel that i am petting a dog not just a fish!

  • No ground

    Too small

    Overstocked.

    Fucking idiot.

  • yeh and the gasping for air means??? ..thats just not right.

  • this fishtank is only suitable for two of your biggest fish, three being generous. Your fish are constantly going to the surface of the water because they need OXYGEN. Do your fish a favour, give some away and only the ones you like the most.

  • @agonyfire keep only the ones you like the most.

  • YES DO A VIDEO ON FEEDING THEM

  • Beautiful! Water is clear, no poo on the bottom, lots of air, I imagine tons of filtrration! Fish are fat an none seem to be in distress!

  • Lovely fish even if there are allot in the tank.

  • do a video on feeding them! :D

  • gotta hate chinks they just arnt made to have animals.. i pity them

  • @Noraturtlefan wow you're an ass.

  • @furripupau rather be an ass then a chink.

  • Tell me if this is good, a 2 and a half gallon tank, 2 fake plants, a frog deco, (Decos are in 1 corner, so its not crowding) multicolored gravel, and some gravel that I took from a succesful (and still running) fishtank of mine, and an air stone, is that good?

    FYI its not a bowl.

  • @ScourageStar99 1 fancy needs at least 10-15 gallons

  • @FOURSTARZ991 Too bad, they're happier than any fish I've evser seen, I'll upgrade soon anyways.

  • too crowded !

  • Wow, They could really use my empty 100 gallon!!

  • well it is overstocked but it looks like there is a divider in the tank so fuck you all mother fuckers

  • No new updates, probably all dead now.

  • I find it funny everyone is giving this guy crap about an overstocked tank. Have you not looked at the tank. Those fish are in excellent water! Its not cloudy, dirty, and that barebottom tank is clean enough to breed discus in. My guess would be lots of huge water changes. You can do a lot about an overstocked tank just by changing the water. I have kept over 40 large africans cichlids in a 75 with no issues.

  • You guys are fucking idiots, this is a showcase tank

  • I hope ur planning to buy a bigger tank for them soon. But all in all they look pretty.

  • I've got 23 goldfish in a 55g tank for more than a year. Everyone of them doubled or even tripled their sizes. The last time I changed their water was about half a year ago. They continue to grow and are happy and healthy. How do you suppose that's possible? People, don't believe that there's only one way to do something. Everything you've read on the internet over and over again is based on the experience of one aquarist whose experience is based on one particular tank or even specie.

  • @dttruon They may be "surviving"....does not mean they are thriving.

  • @insomniac567 please read my comment again! apparently you missed something. i never said my fish are surviving. also, allow me to reiterate that there are more than one method to do something. it just so happened that i did not explain my method, due to a limitation on characters allowed by youtube, so please don't rush to assume my fish are living in poo poo water. again, i'd like to reiterate that "They continue to grow and are happy and healthy." did you miss that?

  • @dttruon

How do you keep them so healthy with a water change every six months? What about the large increase in nitrate over such a long period of time?

  • @ALNEAL i have a large piece of driftwood (i believe it's either the african or the malaysian driftwood, not too sure which, but it's the common one sold at your lfs) that is constantly leaching tannins into the aquarium. the tannins keep my tank around 5.5-6.0ph. the level of acidity speed up the process of breaking down the wastes. at this ph, the beneficial bacteria that consumes and contribute to the nitrification process thrive and becomes highly efficient......to be continued

  • @ALNEAL i check the ammonia, nitrite & nitrate level periodically, and they are always near zero level without ever fluctuating. i used 2 different brands of water test kits to cross-check each other. i have water lilies and floating pond plants. they are indeed more efficient than those delicate aquarium plants. every month, i clean and change out the filter. i only add water to the tank as the level drops. i only change the water every half a year for 2 reasons......to be continued.

  • the first reason is that after half a year, there simply aren't any more room for the processed solid waste to collect beneath the gravel. after all, solid waste don't just collect in the filter only. don't wash and clean the gravel, the beneficial bacteria population is stable. leave them alone, just siphon the water and debris below the gravel. i do an 80% change. the second reason is to maintain the ph above 5.5. anything lower, and the goldfish starts having ulcer. good luck, have fun.

  • @dttruon

I have just read all of your replies. Very interesting. Thank you for the information.

  • @dttruon

Thank you for your reply some time ago. You are very knowledgable and are a real fish expert. Because of this, I would like to ask you another question. In all of the tanks that I have seen that have plants growing in them have been dirty and with a black layer of detritus on the upper surface. Because of this, they do not look healthy and cannot function for long with clogged pores. Even good mechanical filtration does not seem to overcome this problem. Continued...

  • @dttruon

The only solution that I am aware of is to have very few fish in the tank, but this would result in less nitrate being available for the plants to thrive on. Lots of plants will consume harmful nitrate (to the fish). So, what is the solution to this problem that I have seen in even fish dealers tanks? Thank you for your reply.

  • Pretty. And I'm guessing these living quarters are only temporary and that normally they get more space.

  • your eggfish goldfish are nice, haven't seen those in a LONG time, but i have to agree.....too many fish for such a small tank, even if it is 50 gallons...nice fish though!!!!!!!

  • ill take a calico lionhead if you want to give some away

  • the tank is huge

  • Perhaps , the whole tank should be used...... wonder what's on the other side of the divider? beautiful fishes!!!

  • wow, beautiful fish, pity about the cramped over stocked living conditions. these guys need 10-20 gallons per fish, there is no way on earth they have even half that in this tank. the gasping on the surface isnt a good sign either. poor fishies.

  • @kelshay00

What do you mean by the gasping?

  • @kelshay00 acually goldfish only need 5 gallons each not 20 gallons for 1. evryone thinks goldfish need these masive tanks but they dont

  • @kelshay00 doesn't gasping mean an ammonia and oxygen issue?

  • if you look at the diameter of the tank its really huge.

the dimensions of the tank make it look smaller but if you look around it its really big. i'd say this is 30 gallons to 50 gallons

  • @theasian4life even at 50 gallons, you should only have about 4-5. Goldfish are messy :P

  • Shareen is right!!!! That tank is way too small. You need to do your homework... 1 inch(of fish) per gallon. Plus goldfish are known to produce more waste than other fish. If they all die... I told you so...

  • way overstocked, thats ridiculous, how can you keep fish that need 10-20 gallons EACH in a tank that small?

  • @shareen83 these fish are for sale, its a petstore... iver never not seen an overstocked aquarium at a petstore...

  • So many beautiful fish.
