I'm so happy with this! I always used 1000 of products but never helped.. i'm using it 3 day's now and my face is almost clear! i recommend using this to everyone! also use some scrub every 2-4 days. anyway goodluck people! Also its a bit pricey but anyway
if i do get them i have to make sure u would want them if not i get stuck with them all i live in nyc here in nyc theres many ways to get really good prices
I used the Clearasil pen and, in my experience, it just prevents the pimple from coming to head. The pimple that I used it on, it prevented a head for a while and the pimple got worse under the skin. I had to puncture it with a needle to relieve it... That was using the product 1-2 times a day. I used the pen ONCE on a different pimple and it helped it come to head faster.
Just don't overuse the product, IMO, or you'll get an infected zit.
@MsKtty89 - thank you for your comment. i perfectly understand what you're saying i kinda experienced that too for a little bit... i switched back to clean & clear persagel.. :)
If you have oily skin I really recommend using just a plain old ivory soap bar on your face every morning and night, It does really dry you out so if you already have dry skin I wouldn't recommend it! Let me know if it works for you...it did for me!!
the clearasil product that actuallly WORKS is the pimple pads its only salicylic acid and benzoyl perioxide and it BURNS the pimples off so beware if u have lots of ance then have lotion on hand
According to the website, the pen is just 2% salicylic acid. The purpose of this chemical is to help dead skin cells flake off of your face so that they do not clog pores. You can get 2% salicylic cream in another form for a much cheaper price and apply it with your fingers - may not be as elegant as a pen tip applicator!
I recommend 5-10% benzoyl peroxide because it helps kill that bacteria that cause the acne. Then scrub thoroughly with a wash cloth to flake off dead skin cells.
you should try the clean and clear advantage acne spot treatment, it will 100% stop amd clear out zits and it costs $5 and it has 22 ml, no offence intended but i personally feel it is a lot better deal than the pen. I hope this comment helpshelps :)
Yeah this pen works really great!... BUT WTF $10 for a damn pen...what is in this that is so special other then salicylic acid 2%.
So I gave in spent the $10 dollars got home opened the package...and then your in it for another disappointment. The solution is only in half of the pen. I tried searching all over the internet but it is not under $10 .... Ehhh :(
I guess and the end...this pen really works so overall I am happy. I have been using it over 3 weeks and it has really helped me.
uh i stole it from walgrens lol... i seen $10.49 and was like fuck that but anyways it works great if you feel a pimple coming it like kind of hurts and u just put that on there and let it dry.
hi, i just wanna say, this video was very helpful. I plan on buying it too. But do you know where it's cheaper? $10 is a little expensive for a little pen...
hey val just my two cents, dont over do it, cause it will make a black mark when it dries up, my dermatologist told me too much salicylic can burn ur infected area. by the way love the look. thanks for the review!
I heard toothpaste works well for pimples and blemishes. Just the regular toothpaste not the liquid or gel ones. It's cheaper too =D I haven't tried it, though, cause I rarely get pimples and I have the PersaGel still. That one works well too.
wake up and get a burned face, if u use toothpaste. my friend did that. HAHA HIS FACE WAS burned and it hurt for a few weeks. it looked red and :P wow, he looked horrible. DO NOT BELIEVE this dude unless u want a face to look like a tomatoe
Its not "sensitive skin" that is the issue, its a type IV hypersensitivity reaction otherwise known as "contact dermatitis". He just had a bad reaction to one of the chemicals in the toothpaste. Though off-label use of tooth paste does seem to have clinical benefits.
I got it for 2 something. It was on sale at Fresh and Easy. haha

Not everyone's skin is the same. So it may work for some and on some it might not.

That person had a hypersensitivity reaction to something in the toothpaste. No everybody reacts like this.

you really going to put stuff for your teeth on your face ?no thanks.
but yeah, i guess my friend has sensitive skin,
