@SiebzehnUndVier The Behringer DJX700, which was a copy of the Pioneer DJM-700, did have awefull beat counters. This one, however, has excelent ones. The FX are always on the beat and are adjustable by tapping.
@mrbounce1000 Yes, the BPMs work great for me. The FX are always right on time, and you can always tapp the beat in if it does not match (which I never had to do)
We don't know what you need it for DO WE. That's like wanting to buy *A* house. How big is your family? What country do you want to live? Maybe the Xone:3D or even the SVM-1000 suits your needs.. SPECIFY.
Actualy, Behringer is not bad. I have a few things from them and the fact is that they offer excelent equipment for a low price, and the price difference between Behringer and other brands with similar stuff is well worth the chance to try them
i have this mixer and 4 B215A speakers, also the HPX2000 headphones. all behringer stuff. and it all works really awesome. im just thinking in buy a pair of 18" subs. and a pair of cdjs 400 or 2 turntables and timecoded vinyls and that would be my setup
The mixer is awesome. I got it as soon as it came out to the market and i love it. It is not as tough as a Rane or a Pioneer but it should last for ever if you treat it right. The fader are optical so they will never degrade. The knobs I'm not sure, but like I said they should be ok as long as you take good care of it.
I use the Numark CDX CD players. They are basically the same as the Numark TTX but they play CDs instead. I do use the DDM4000 as a midi controller but not for transport. I never liked to push a button for play, plus there is a lot more conttrol using a spinning record. I use the midi control to triger loops, fx, and hot cues on virtual dj. You'll love this mixer.
and de mixes ar getting better and better every day.
i love the efect's they did in it.
do you know how to get 2 chanels as midi chanels for my dj program?[channel 2 and 3] and at the same time keep the auther 2 channels for line use for my cd players?[channel 1 and 4]
Sure, you need to enter the MIDI setup in the mixer by -pres sand hold- the console setup knob in the middle of the mixer, and than use it to navigate to MIDI, and just push the knob as a button. This section alouds you to select which channels to choose as MIDI controllers. Even when in MIDI you can still rout audio thru them so the MIDI channels can be used to receive audio from your computer.
No, unfortunatelly it is not a sound card. I wish it was. It has regular MIDI in and out conections so you would need a MIDI to USB adapter to conect it to your computer.
hey man nice mix, I wanna get this mixer, what is your setup? I use traktor with a VCI 100 midi controller but hate it, a friend recommended I get this mixer....how do you play/cue up the song? Do you do everything on the mixer? thanks
Thanks. I use the mixer to set loops, trigger fx & cues, and I use to pitch bend but I still prefer the control on the decks not on the software. I do all the transport control with my Numark CDX decks. I started mixing when vinyl was all there was, so I prefer that feel. The mixer comes prep for Traktor, but you can set almost any and avery button and knob to control any MIDI parameter so the posibilities are only limited by the number of knobs and buttons. I'm sure you would love this one.
yeah the mixer isnt very well constructed but hell for the price you cant beat it for the features it offers... also what did you do to get rid of those annoying blue LED's for the EQ switch on all the channels...
The reason they are not on is because the channel strtips are being used as midi controlers. Lights don't come on unless the program sends a specific message back throu midi
It is a great mixer. I recomend it to anyone looking to get a mixer with fx and midi. It doesn't really feel like it will last for ever, but at its price you can buy three of them and still cheeper than buying one of the comparable mixers.
@SiebzehnUndVier I have been DJing since the 1980s, so I have tried a few.

pretty solid mixer bro ... seriously, discovering this mixer is gonna save me alot of money rather than saving up for the good pioneer stuff...
this mixer has given me hope for behringer after all :D (i'm considering to buy one of these now over the DJM-700... 550 bucks or 1600 bucks)

Even if it only last a couple of years, all the features are worth the great price.

Sure you can, you can use it in many ways. You can use it as your audio mixer or even add more controll to your omni by using the MIDI functions
