I am not racist or anything but it is kinda weird for a black man (triton, amazingly talented) to have six white daughters (two of them redheads) and one black daughter...

I wish Disney could have put more money into this. Everything's so beautifully made, but a lot of other stuff is kind of cheap, like Flounder's outfit. This show had so much potential, just like Tarzan :(

If you all are gonna complain about the mermaids costumes, tell me how you would make a bunch of people look like they are swimming in water as mermaids, the roller skates give the water gliding motion, but how do you plan to make people look like they are swimming while on land in gravity, that looks right, isn't gonna be uncomfortable for the actors and audiences will like? People! Stop being so harsh... This is Broadway. They aren't trying to make everything perfect like the movie, or like real life. They are trying to get the "feeling" of The Little Mermaid, not trying to make it identical to the movie. I think EVERYHTING was top notch. And what's wrong with the tails? Got any better ideas? I'm sure they can't suspend 9 mermaids in the air, while singing, and trying to perform.

This is really well done except...I'm sorry, but the "tails" really bother me.

The set is amazing, so is the cast (Flounder is the CUTEST thing ever), and besides the tail thing, the costumes are TOP NOTCH.

I guess I'm a little biased, since I saw a Broadway-esque type show of the The Little Mermaid at Tokyo DisneySea and they handled that particular detail SO MUCH more gracefully. The actors were suspended in the air by wires, and it was a lot more graceful than roller skates. XP

The tails are just to bulky. I didn't really like any of the costumes except tridents, ariels and ursellas. The designer did no justice for the little mermaid on broadway.

Alot of this looks like something an amature designer still in artschool would make.

@Neriede Actually i think they did a good job with the tails and skate. because it would be a hard 2 and a half hours hanging in the air. Keeping your muscles fixxed every second. Next it's making the last scene a lot more workable. i love the show hope it comes to holland
