Wow! what a great poem.

65, 66, 67, 68..hippies...flowers, free love..drugs..Haight Ashbury S.F....JFK, Bobby, Martin, my dad died in 68 brother was drafted on the day JFK was shot, guys desperately trying to marry to get out of the war..I was proposed to...4 times in a year...and thought they loved me...it was just the fear...Such madness and such hope for change at the same time.

A good technique of slam poetry is to start out funny and then work in some very serious stuff. As a poet, I almost always do that see ["God is like a girlfriend" etc early in the VLOGS here]. In this BED VLOG we will always be goofy in chats, but occasionally will slip in a wonderful Sweetie poem or such. Thanks for the kind words.

I took Sweetie to the Emlio Estevez movie "Bobby" and at the end she had tears in her eyes and two days later this poem. That was the best $10 I ever spent on a night out that resulted in a great poem and peice of art.
