Fucking hell, nearly every fucking PJ video they are some whiney fucks moaning about cameron or irons, yes dave A was great and yes i agree he probably drums songs from ten, Vs and vitalogy better than matt. it does not take away from the fact that matt is a great drummer just a different style.

And let's be honest eddie, jeff, mike and stone were/are the key componenets in pearl jam not dave, also great vid.

It's not a question of who is a better drummer all together (although Dave A is), but who fits with Pearl Jam better. Dave A fit with them the best, and I think Jack Irons was great with them, too. But Matt Cameron just doesn't really fit with them. I'm sure he was good with Soundgarden, because he fit their sound.

I have a lot of respect for Dave and Jack, but for me, this whole argument comes down to this: Why hasn't Dave done something with a band(a real band)since? I've heard the Green Romance Orchestra stuff, and it's good, but it's been 14 years. You'd think somebody would've picked him up.

But those vs. and vitalogy royalties gotta be sweet.

If you can, listen to the 7/22/98 version of this song. Matt Cameron taught the metronome how to keep time.
