Hi speedster, how are those litle baggers hmm, buggers, baggers doin? ha, ha. Yes, the uke has that effect on the human condition. Mellows ya out. Good to hear from ya! Johnny
The buggers erm baggers are doing just fine. They haven't bothered with the bag lately. They have their moments when bagging is all they want to do. At the moment it's all Nintendo games and Wii games.:-(
Hi Johnny, I really enjoyed that piece, its so different from what we usually hear on the uke. You are oozing talent my friend. Have a musical day, Gloria
Thanks a lot DukamiUke. That's great coming from you as I know you pretty much do it all. Those Jake songs are not easy! Take care and make some more videos.
Yes, GCEA - as you know the uke is nothing but a guitar starting at the 5th fret minus strings 5 & 6. This is a fabulous song to exercise with, great for further nimbling of the fingers, getting those micro-double stops in, and getting a sound from a tap on an acoustic, light bodied instrument. Love to see your version of it when done. I'll subscribe and friend you. Mahalo Spiritcrusher212 for cruising by. Johnny Pal
I went to the YOU TUbe and listened to Rimsky Korsakov Flight of the Bumblebee. Now I remember it. It does sound like a difficult number to do but I am sure you will MASTER it just fine. It's late and I am beat so good night JP & TC Panchito.
No EB, that was just a cute title I put to it. Sorry you misunderstood that. The real Flight of the Bumblebee was written by Rimsky Korsakov and is totally different. Gotta keep uppin the bar ya know. Holdin a good thought for the family members. Me & Panchito
Very kind of you to say so A1Ukester. So much talent out their with the wee ones. I find it stimulating to try to keep up. Young minds, young hands, young fingers. Johnny Pal of MangoDaville
Yes, Populele I noticed the five point star headstock on your Koaloha tenor. They are great. The pineapple is a pretty loud little concert. Keep on keepin on with the uke! Johnny Pal of MangoDaville
Thanks EB, Panchito was climbing for pineapples! He's doing fine. Yes, I scraped both knees when I took a spill a few weeks ago while jogging at the park. They're on the mend though. Tanks for asking. Now its on to learning another ukulele song! Mahalo, Johnny & Tree Climber
Hi ya JP, I was wondering what song your learning nexr on the Ukulele? I love all the new ones you have recently put out. You are awsome but it is nice to see you performing once in awhile with your group too. Keep the songs comming.
I am trying to work out one of the most difficult numbers on any instrument, "Flight of the Bumblebee" - but don't fret, it won't be any time real soon! ha, ha. TC for JP
