Seems like a lot of haters out there. Nice job for what you had to work with. I am sure you guys will continue to get better as time goes on. Keep at it!
@Myiphone5 Do you know how ignorant and offensive you sound telling people to go kill themselves? So the guy's can't act and broke the 180 rule, yippie. They are still infinitely smarter than some internet troll who spends his time telling people they are useless and hopeless, which are only reflections of himself. Buzz off.
@AmazeNYou Yeah I do dumbass, I think before I speak. Your mother should have thought before she accepted that money and got fucked the stupid whore, the world would be better off without scum like you. Oh what's wrong? Did I just outsmart you? <--- Rhetorical question - hardly a troll you pathetic shit I have more intelligence in my baby toe nail than you'll have in your life. It's a conundrum isn't it. Too bad. They did nothing right. I'm a millionaire doing this stuff. Go kill yourself.
@Myiphone5 You're a "millionaire" who spends his time replying to 4 month old YouTube comments? I knew we were in a recession, but damn; it must be getting really bad.
I am not interested in getting in a battle of wits with someone who clearly has none. You take the time to insult me and even my mother, type a paragraph of nothing but nonsensical profanity, and then insist you outsmarted me? Really, man? To show your intelligence you could, in the least, craft responses that make sense.
@thezackinator89 Yeah stuff happens when you spend about 2 minutes planning a scene by yourself, then shooting and rolling audio by yourself as well, while it's about 40 degrees out. I'll remember next time :)
Wannabe Slick Dude: Just keeping worm, night is getting colder and colder.
... the dialogue is so fucking stupid. and they moved in the middle of the sidewalk where the most light is, to deal DRUGS!!!! hahahahahaha fucking morons
@es89Productions - it has an internal mic but if you're trying to do professional quality video you'll want an external mic. I like the rode videomic. It's $150, attaches to the flash shoe at the top of the camera, and provides close to professional quality audio at a low price.
i agree with goenrock, crossed the line which made it confusing...i was also distracted by homeboy's acne (no offense) and yes rule of 3rds will help greatly to steer you away from amatuer filmmaking. keep it up man.
I gotta give it to you, at least you went out and shot something. Keep up the shooting ... you'll only get better. Next time use better actors... maybe a hot chick... that always goes over well even with bad acting. Just a thought.
haha I'm gonna be brutally honest... the buyer's a shitty actor.. he doesn't seem like somebody that needs "pills", but on the other hand.. the dealer for sure acts like a real dealer. good film work.
lol the acting and dialogue was absolutely dreadful in this....but it looks decent because the 7D always looks pretty good....but it looks like this might have been shot on the kit lens with pumped up ISO...you could probably benefit from a nice fast prime lens like the 50 1.4. Also look up rule of thirds....your framing could be slightly better.
Well I guess technically the framing has each guy in the middle third (kind of)...But rule of thirds in cinematography usually has the eyes of one the characters in the outside thirds....Which would have one character on the edge of frame, with two thirds of the frame in open space in front of him, known as "looking room." You give the character 2 thirds in front of him to show the direction he's looking/talking, and you frame the reverse shot the same.
@davidmcdonald86 You know what rule of thirds Its not a hard concept to grasp but when appropriate ....I think there is time when it should defiantly be implemented and there are time to brake out of the proverbial box so to speak
there are definitely times to break the rule of thirds, but this isn't one of them....these guys should be framed on the side of the frame, not in the center....you will NEVER see framing like this is a professional movie or TV show. Ever. The only time you might see the rule get broken is if someone is directly centered for a specific reason....but their eye-line won't be off to the side, it will also be more centered toward the camera.
He doesn't wear hoods very often.
