For our Dinner and A Movie Concert at my school, the Wind Ensemble played the music from this movie and this was the first song we playing in the score! Ive never seen the movie, but the music is AMAZING!!!!!! And I definatly want to see the movie after that concert!! ^_^

@swampfire247346 You should see the newest short film on How to Train your Dragon. You've probably heard of "The Gift of the Night Fury". It is a great addition! The best news is that Toothless has a bigger part then he had in the Boneknapper. And no, Dreamworks did NOT screw it up. Perfectly in tune with the character's personalities. I recommend it wholeheartedly. It's actually on YouTube. Don't tell anyone and watch it before it gets deleted!!!!

I watched this movie 7 times in 3 days. This movies is amazing and powerful. Im like addicted to it. I get a really good and wierd feeling when i watch this movie, something different from other movies. That feel is just sooo different. Every time i watch this movie, i always wished i get a dragon of my own. GO TOOTHLESS!!

Well, it appears it will become a trilogy. Hopefully they don't mess it up, like they did to the Shrek series. The first Shrek was nice, like a modern-day fary tale, and yet a parody, it was great. However, the sequels got increasingly stupid, and focused more on lame jokes and pop culture references than a good story.

Hopefully the same creative team is brought back to brings us something just as beautiul as this one was.

How else can you express an epic retelling of dragon myth in today's world as an emotional experience other than through classical music like this in a symphony orchestra?

This opening sequence is what made this movie flow very well. It had to be the best decision they made starting it like this.

In my opinion, it gets epic at 1:06 :3. Those drums are just awesome to hear.

in the opening moments of this film when the dreamworks boy fishing from a crescent moon appears, if you look closely you can just barely see the shadowy figure of a nightfury flying by behind the moon and disappearing offscreen. Pure magic.

The music tells the story. Listening To it allows you to see what is happening, visualizing every detail and move as if you were there yourself. The music gives you what you need. You just put in the pictures. If I had thumbs the size of ironing boards they still wouldn't be big enough for the double thumbs up I give. Expect more from on these pieces of music.
