I had Black Pudding before My Mother bought it and let me try it it wasn't bad tasted great it was a bit spicy but I love spicy food. The Best Thing I have ever eaten
Awesome video I'm a chef from Scotland and was brought up in the western isles where the famous stornoway black pudding or marag dudh (in gaelic) is made so well by the butchers and locals a like.. so lovely mmh! in scotland we pair it with seafood like scallops, crab, lobster etc and a bit of hollendaise sauce ..or just for breakfast or in a bun with brown sauce(hp sauce in uk) awesome!!
At home when we make 150 pound batches and first we boil the pork butts then once done we grind them up with the blood and white rice allong with many spices like mint and dill. Then we use cow intestines on a sausage stuffer and tie the ends with string.rice sausage as we call it has always been my favorite. :)
I love homemade blood sausage! Honestly i think they should have named it somthing different i mean theres not even alot of blood at all. At home we calk it rice sausage or mint sausage.:)
@lilbear1417 blood sausage isn't good for you though, the more blood there is in a type of food the bigger chance there is of contracting diseases even when thoroughly cooked. it's like the diet coke thing.
Nearly got it, but its not the Original British one. We use alot less oatmeal, No Coriander. Well thats in the Midlands anyway, but sure looks good... Well done
pretty cool

This looks like a great, and detailed recipe Chef!
*Question- Is there much difference between traditional Blood Sausage in:
Brittan, Ireland, Scotland, Uruguay?

Love black pudding for breakfast, or even on toast for a snack with some Chef brown sauce (Irish Fruit sauce)

thumbs up at 1:52 for a 'cooking show' that actually uses *all the ingredients from the work bowl.
