  • does it really matter what car its, well obviously different coils fit different cars but is it the same concept as it would be on a different vehicle?

  • @RotaryRobBrap Kind of yes and no.

  • @mattyboi1 what if it was for an FC ;)

  • あのストラットバーなんだよ。役にたたんぞっっあれじゃ!!

  • i have pbm coilovers too. i was wondering if you could tell me how to adjust the stiffness of the dampers. my passenger rear is slightly rubbing but i think i can stop it by stiffening that coilover.

  • bought a set of coilovers. no shocks :/

  • what coil overs do you recomend? the car i have is a 240sx coupe and it has KEI office coilovers but one of them is blown so idk what to do

  • Can you message me what kind of coilovers you have? They look like the JSK Coilovers on ebay. I just wanna know how they feel and if they are dependable coilovers.

  • @ACEharuga they are Powered by Max (PBM)

  • when you buy coilovers do they come with everything you need for installation or would you need to buy a kit that goes with them??? i saw some online but i think they just said 'coilovers' and not like 'coilover kit' or anything like that... please help me out

  • @SWORDMANSTR You only need to order the coilover and then you use the stock nuts and bolts to put it in

  • @XxAbsolutRaverxX for sure bro, so would i need to make any modifications to the stock struts if i used them with just coilover sleeves? or would there even be any noticeable drop in ride height when using stock struts??

  • @SWORDMANSTR Dont use sleeves, they are absolute garbage. They will only make a minimal difference in ride height but it will ride much worse than the oem suspension. In my honest opinion, the only way to go on an s chassis is with full coilovers. Even cheap coilovers like godspeed will be much better than sleeves.

  • @mattyboi1 okay yeah ive been hearing stuff about them not being so great but i wasnt sure... thanks for the heads up tho! alright i got a Nissan Altima '96 that i want to put them on tho, i was guessing that the 240sx and 1st gen Altimas were sort of similar since theyre both Nissans and have the same engine i think. KA24DE... but would they have Godspeed coilovers for 1st gen Altimas? you know bro?

  • Video is helping a lot I can't wait to install my coilovers saving up for tein coilovers

  • Couldve used this a couple months ago! I had to figure it out myself lol

    Good vid none the less

  • Great video man, simple and straight to the point.I learned alot, thanks!

  • hey i just got some coilovers and i need help on adjusting my front coilover camber plates cuz my tire are tilted now.

  • @Jdmtwofortysx Loosen the 4 allen head screws up top on the camber plate and adjust either inward or outward to straighten the wheel.

  • @mattyboi1 i figured it out finally lol

  • Agreed with the comment below. Honda/Acura is a little more harder. I kicked my head trying to install my suspension !

  • @Jx1x3 Hondas & Acuras have just a few more bolts to remove & install.

  • Good vid man, seems much easier then my Honda.

  • Are those powered by MAX coilovers?? How do you like them, and how much are they????

  • @240sxGuy3 Yes, the new powered by MAX Pro coilovers. Price is $1500, but well worth every penny! Few of the upgrades over the PBM Competitions are Swift springs, refined damper control on the softer range, caster adjustable, etc. I love them, on full soft the ride is awesome for daily driving, but they also perform great on the track.

  • thats easy then huh i always thought it was harder than just removing 4-6 bolts

  • @era562 Yes its very simple! I hope my video helped you out.
