I'm not disagreeing, but I think the assertion about the Neanderthal DNA is incorrect. We have Neanderthal DNA, but I have yet to hear of a complete sample that shows difinitive chromosomal speciation. Still, other genetic clues have pointed to two seperate species. Just thought that needed some clarification. BTW, if I am wrong and there is a complete (or near complete) sample, please let me know.
There is no evidence of the missing link just admit it. it is quite pathetic that when you have evidence thrown at you, you just say oh no it didnt. thats not an arguement, just ignorance.
Shout you try so hard to deny everything and make up lies its rediculous. All you say is no they dont but you have no evidence at all. atleast they are saying the reaserch that was done on neaderthal man to prove he was diseased and a fraud. Very sad on your part come up with some real points.
Lol you make up excuses when you dont even know. you say he did not say that it was a fraud on his death bed but how do u know? you just say no he didnt like you know lol your very funny and pathetic
lol your first comment is a lie in itself. you say that they are lying but you are the true one who is lying here. How do u know who the knee joint belonged to if it was found on its own? i think there is a reason he tried to put it with lucy. it is because he knew it was a fake and tried to sell it as a fact. so stop lying.
Great videos mate, really nice to see a response to this rubbish. I couldn't believe it when I watched the original! Clear concise and thoughtful. Thanks.
@MrAnthonyBaxter well the thing is, it is the creationists who are accusing scientists for saying things that they simply dont say, Neanderthals arent human, so if u want i can give proof they dont say that, just like anything else the maker of this video says, but its common knowledge that creationists simply dont tell the truth lie, and just dont understand science
I think it's important to emphasize the importance of the long chain of links we've found, and that when watching a gradient-ed process, the lines between species become increasingly arbitrary. In the end, these creationists tend to misuse and actively abuse the short hand used by professionals. Things like 'People evolved from apes' misstates the idea.
i love that when a creationist say that if everything wasnt just right life wouldnt have happened so there had to have been an intelligent designer.
yea things had to be just right for the life that appeared to have appeared that is why that life appeared if the conditions where different other life could have appeared maybe we would be better with bigger frontal lobes and small adrenal glands
I like their choice of inventing a new species. Although, due to the need for distinction, I would suggest that creationists not call their new species 'habilus' when we already have a species called 'habilis'. It will just confuse too many people. I know he addressed this in the video, but I don't like it when people make all the points I'd like to make to sound smarter! You're too damn smart (or enlightened, at least), freemind62.
except for the intelligent ones that actually have logical & scientific reasons for not believing in evolution. I'm pretty sure they still would have a problem with it.
Oh, I have great respect for the religious. I am religious, but more a blurred line between agnosticism and deism. Anyhow, I'm sure my comment was hyperbole, but I think that the majority of the problems people have with evolution (even evolutionists) are rooted in the implications evolution has on the human animal.
and we can have a BALL about DNA if you want to... If you're interested in conversing with me about DNA, send me a PM telling me so. Every time I begin my DNA argument, the evolutionist I am debating simply says "I don't want to do this anymore." I want to see if you're up to it
ohh cool, you mean like how scientist have found proof that life on earth originated with molecules of RNA?
and how RNA can replicate themselves without any proteins or DNA?
or how this shows conclusively that self-replication could, over millions of years on a planet, have developed spontaneously given proper conditions and is devastating to the last hope of creationists, that somehow life was too complex to have started out without intelligent assistance??
ummm huh? don't really know what you are refering to but whatever you say man...?
i basically made my comment directed at "TheChristianDefender", thus why my comment was all about DNA and RNA etc...because the guy came in here saying that every time he starts "his DNA argument" the evolutionists don't want to argue with him anymore....hahaha so much for that, after my comment he hasn't even responded back....just like i thought ; )
that's not really debunking..it's giving your own ideas without using facts and calling them facts. Such as when you say things like "no they didn't" I can just as easily say "yes they did."
That's a valid argument to make. These videos aren't meant to be definitive rebuttals. Whenever I make a claim I always try to thouroughly research my position beforehand. Some of my rebuttals are quite breif, but that is because it would require a very large ammount of information to catagorically show an argument to be false that takes a creation proponant 3 seconds to make. Since my time is limited (both on the video, and in editing)I tend to only expand on the main points.
If you are interested in a more in depth discussion on the topics i cover in my videos, or more information on my sources then feel free to contact me.
I respect that you do your research. That's good. But you used lucy as an example when the scientific community has tossed that. They concluded there could even be some monkeys like that alive today

Holy Shit, the more I listen to the Janet (Folger) Porter, the more of a snake oil salesman she becomes.
Has she no end to her hypocrisy and lies for Jebus?

This was just stupid. There is no proof for this guys accusations. All he is saying is "No he didn't say that". This video was very inaccurate.

I honestly believe that if evolution claimed that humans don't, didn't, and can't evolve, there would be no arguments against it from creationists.

There is no such thing of an Evolutionist since The Theory of Evolution is not a faith.

sure you want to talk about it?lol

life isn't complex, it'd simply be unlogic if life shouldn't exist.
And, past is obvious:
- animal hiërarchic ladder is still present
(think of: racism, womenrights, gayrights, kapitalism, competitionsports, ...)
- instincts still try to control our thoughts
(think of: think twice, don't go in head over heals, being scared for the inner-saten, depression, murders, ...)
It'll be a better world if we learned to look at our emotions (=instincts) first, i.o. building holy walls!
