pro violinist? she may be able to twiddle her fingers around but jeez take a break before your fingers snap off. Being able to play fast doesn't make you a pro, playing with grace and dynamical is what makes you a good artist.

Playing fast and in tune are qualities of someone who has sat down and taken the hours to not only relax and train their muscles but know their instrument. Not saying that you are 100% incorrect, but most famous pieces written idiomatically for the violin have not only sections that are high, but sections that require a quick finger movements in play. Most orchestral scores have string players noodling around to create a texture.

I really miss the enchant era sometimes, back when she was a fairy wing clad enchantress etc. Her ex boyfriend Birdfeeder (nic name, never knew his real) who was also her bass (or lead gutarist not 100% sure) is the guy on the right next to her ibook. Though this was also a few years before her life took a turn for the worst but ended up inspiring Opheliac. She is amazing non the less, Love love love her.

I agree, I've been playing a stringed instrument for 10 years and speed isn't that hard at all. When one plays at that pace, it's easy to disguise mistakes. Her intonation kinda sucked too. Sorry guys. :-/

I have to say I'm with ShadowOfLife on this one; I still remember the disappointment I felt when I heard 'The Art of Suicide'. Sometimes it sounds like she's trying too hard to achieve the 'theatrical diva' voice when she can't fully muster the strength.
