The report is that these guys were making "Brown's Gas", a favorite subject of countless bogus "free energy" claims. "Brown's Gas" is produced by electrolyzing water and combining both gases. I.e., it is nothing more than a mixture of hydrogen and oxygen gas in the most explosive ratio possible. So the tragedy here is that not only did someone die, but he died for absolutely no reason because the "technology" was worthless. Science ignorance doesn't just waste money, it can kill.
