1. Just because they say "not as much strategy as people think" doesn't mean they are saying it doesn't have any strategy. Just says that people usually try to over think Blackjack or think it's some super hard deal and it really honestly isn't.

2. My wife is a Blackjack dealer. She's been tipped $1,500 on one hand before. This isn't at a Vegas Casino either.. so getting a $5,000 tip? I'm sure it's happened before.. Not saying people go tip 5 grand every day.

Obviously, this isn't true, if the host is at all capable of "tricking" the player by selectively offering switches, it changes the probability by that amount.

I was a blackjack dealer for many years; this movie is the stuff of everyday proceedure based on players who are trying to take an edge against other players and the house. Casinos try to keep it fair or even odds, or about one percent in favor of the casino by the rules of the mathimatical game. Distractions by coctail waitresses lowers the odds against players, etc.

You could be an amazing card counter who doesn't play by traditional basic strategy be it that you know side counts or just notice certain patterns that other do not or dont even understand. I personally play alot. I know how to play side counts which always me to play more negative counts adding to my counter cover. Which allows me to play calmer and under better cover than most other players insuring cover tactics.

They actually never walk in together except at the beginning when they're checking into their suites. As far as the "Facial Recognition Software" goes, once you're caught counting, they take your picture and it's sent to all the casinos so when you walk into a different casino and sit down at a table, they already know you're a counter and can ask you to leave...my grandpa played Blackjack for a living and was a pit boss before that so he knows what goes on and even wrote a book about it.
