@Songsmirth There were two very early BBC appearances with Pete, and the tapes do exist, but unfortunately the sound reproduction on both of them is very bad. The first time, In March of '62, they performed Dream Baby, Memphis Tennessee, and Please Mr. Postman. The second time, in June of '62, they performed Ask Me Why, Besame Mucho, and A Picture of You. Any of the BBC tapes with "clean" sound are all from after Ringo joined them. This is Ringo.

I think George was irreasonably left under Paul's and John's shadows! He was very smart, talented, skilled and his songs should have been given more relevance! It's a pity his songs are known only by lovers and experts! George's music concept in The Beatles' style deeply influenced my way of perceiving their works!
