I own a 2011 SS camaro.. unless you have 10k to drop into the motor.. forget it. Trading for a 35r sti tommorrow. And 26 lbs isn't a lot for that turbo.. and its a 4 cly... it's not a v8.

@sergsrt8 lol yea man, going out and buying a boost controller and turning up the boost is a bad idea, for the wrx/sti its best to start with uppipe/downpipe and tune the thing, then maybe start thinking of getting a boost controller, but like i was saying though, mod for mod subaru wins, all i have on my 04 wrx is a upgraded turbo, injectors, fuel pump with exhaust and tune and im pushing right at 400hp in my 3100lb car, ill smash a 35+k Camaro with my 20k 04 wrx with just a few upgrades,

@sergsrt8 mods cost me about 3k, running a 16gxt @21psi, mine is handling the 400hp 330awhp fine and dandy, i guess as long as you dont rag the shit out of it, it will last just fine, im going to be changing to a STI 2.5l block and have it stroked to a 2.7 in the near future, that will be some cash for sure but ill have a strong as motor

That Subaru STI is a single turbo (garret 35r w/ a .63 turbine housing) dynoed 420ish on a mustang dyno. I know the owner of it he is a friend of mine.

I seen him no more than a week ago with the same 35r setup..He would not of gone twin turbo..Rocky seen that large turbine housing and thought it was another turbo lol.There are two sides to a turbo, compressor cover and a turbine housing. lots of people that do not know turbos look at a single turbo and say Ohh shiiit twin turboooo.lol The STI is setup and tuned right and that makes all the difference. His car pulls nasty and he is losing his fourth gear, syncroo is shot.
