  • Is there a way to remove a program from the system tray completely while its still running? like you just hide them..but when you click on the arrow it comes back..like i dont want the icon to show at all...but keep it running also.? pls let me know

  • yes ComputerHax1343.. very good, if you could do with a few icons, not all ... will be possible?

  • well yes, but that doesn't actually get rid of the icon, it just hides it, and when you click on the arrow, it comes back

  • is there a way to make just one icon go away, not all of them

  • yes. Thats already covered in the first minute of this video. Did you watch it?

  • @systemerror11 he means how do you remove one icon. like the last minutes. i also like to know that

  • @mikiehj Yes I realize that now, I created another video showing how to do that. see /watch?v=TrFUf3grwyY - Creating services from the command line (windows)

  • when i disable it i think it starts up faster. anyone else????

  • when i got to policies it just gave me ComDLG32 and didn get explore

  • i need help... whats a system tray and how can i find it. i disabled something and it said to go to the system tray and enable it again

  • possibly there would be a way to disable the taskbar too.. but, how about not starting the taskbar in whole windows?

when u startup, there wont be a taskbar at all? i want that because i got my own taskbar..

so it doesnt need to startup, i want only a specific program to startup, it needs explorer.exe i guess, but things like taskbar i really dont need at all..

    could u please help me?

  • dude your awsome at the computer and i thought i was smart and yomama made fun of you dude

  • Is there any way to show only wanted icons on the system tray and fully remove unwanted but necessary ones while keeping them running anyway? The little arrow annoys me ;)

    (sorry)

  • probably. I'll look into it.

  • how do i make a system tray icon?

  • depends on the language youre coding in.

  • HOLY CRAP! I THINK I KNOW THE ANSWER TO THIS ONE... go to start then go to run. type "msconfig" then go to the "startup tab". simply uncheck the boxes to the ones that you don't want to show up. I hope this helps.

  • My own computer is broken right now, but when I get it back I'll check if that works. Thanks! :)

  • Thank you very much, it worked.

  • You're quite welcome. :D

  • ah, but thats because the services or programs aren't running anymore. I thought you wanted to hide them while they were running! my bad!

  • how do we do this but to remove only certain icons, while the program is actually still running?

  • Thank you very much for posting

  • very good!
