  • i love before n still love it now

  • :((

  • RIP MICK KARN :'-( and THANK YOU!!! Long life Peter Murphy!

  • RIP Mick, your style will be forever. a unique way to play. you are history! I miss you!

  • anticipates sylvian/fripp by over a decade

  • love to see our mick's art in here. you are truely one of a kind mick. feel better soon. love you.

  • this should have been a mick karn solo album, great music but i hated the singing & lyrics, never been a pete murphy fan.

  • @moonsault2506123 maybe mick didn't like the singing either - they didn't attempt anything else together for about 30 years. I did like the singing and lyrics. I don't know who could have done a better job. Singing to those weirdly melodic bass lines and other convoluted instruments would be tough for any singer.

  • genius.

  • I remember this song! Ah, those days... Thank you for put some visual poetry in youtube!

  • I think I spilled bong water on myself the first time I listened to this, made quite an impression.

  • Beautiful montage, hauntingly sublime music. Feels good to both the ears and the soul.

Absolutely love it! Thanks for posting!

  • Easily one of my favorites Dalis Car music hit!! Pure Masterpiece =)

  • Thank you for posting this ---- definitely some of their best collaborative stuff -- I'm not into 'reunion bands' but I would go see these guys if they did.

  • Thanks so much for posting this!

  • It was an interesting cover to the album "Dalis Car" by Maxfield Parrish, a wellknown retro idyllic painter, very skilled. I loved this album when it came out and i still like it very much, much cause of the associations through greek mythology and it gets something much more than music.

    Thanxx

  • The Maxfield Parrish artwork was also used by the Moody Blues on 'Blue World' from 'The Present' - released in 1983, could it have inspired the Dalis Car to use it a year later?

  • that was......very interesting...

  • But did you like it???

  • agreed - interesting....but i didn't really like it much....

  • Heidi, thanks so much for posting this - this is wicked :)

  • I was 12 years old when I bought this almbum and was too young for it really, I bought Brilliant trees around the same time and it's only when I got a lot older that realised how good it was. Really this is ambient music and a lot of atmospheric house music etc can be found in it.

  • I coudnt agree more!!!!!!(*_*)

  • Have not heard this since 1984!!-when I bought the album-but listening to this-the bass guitar is definitely reverse played-anyway well done Heidi for posting-the sound is perfect!!!
