Hey,I will have to buy a new computer because I checked it out and I need shader model 3.0 to run it.Its saying shader model 3.0 or higher required.

Hey I just bought GTA IV from steam and it installed fine but when i click play it loads and go to social club thing and i click play offline then it says error d3d and then it says shader 3.0 or higher recommended and then it says send report to microsft so I can't get it to play any help?

@OfficialGtaMods Sorry it took so long for a respond, I just noticed this comment. First check for a video/graphics card update. Then make sure you have DirectX installed. Now if both of those steps do not work, re-install the game, but make sure the patch does not download. The patch supposedly was made to stop people who had Intel Graphics from playing.

@OfficialGtaMods Try re-downloading Games for Windows Live. If that doesn't work, try verifying integrity of game cache. Tell me if it works/ doesn't work....
