@wisesatyr72 I agree with you about Buddy Guy, but Crays' sound is way to tame for the Blues. His guitar sounds almost apologetic as he plays, very weak sound for a Strat. I know you like him and thats fine, but he can't hold a candle to Trout, Montoya,SRV,Danny Bryant, Albert Collins or King,Freddie King,Luther Allison,Hooker,Clapton,Roach Thompson, Muddy, or a whole host of others. You might want to watch the movie "Cross Roads"...lol Peace bro...
This is from "Tribute to Muddy Waters" (usually played on public access tv). This might be the last time that Johnny Johnson (RIP) actually played the piano. You should see him playing for Phobe Snow-wow! The originals BLUES players! Thanks for posting

@wisesatyr72 I agree with you on Buddy, but Cray is not a great Blues player to me, his sound is too tame. I like the Blues played down & Dirty.

@bluedaddy23 Robert Cray is the most original Blues guitar player you can find
You're probaly talking about Bar band blues sound like Blues Hammer, you should check out Ghost World the movie lol
