themeaningoflifs38, It depends on the armored car company but yes, all armored cars must have some type of insurance. This was an inside job. Reguardless that the guard didn't follow proper procedures, why didn't the robber take away his gun? "If" I was going to rob someone with a firearm, the first thing I would do is take it away so it couldn't be used against me. The robber didn't so his "partner" (the guard) could fire it to make it look like he was trying to defend the robbery. INSIDE JOB!
Inside job. I worked for an armored car company before I became a correctional officer. I did armored cars for 5 years and I'm starting my 10th year as a correctional officer this September. I've never fired my gun in the line of duty (except range practice while on the clock) but to hit the ground at that close range? INSIDE JOB. Another fact, over 80% of all armored car robberies are inside jobs.
bobjutheanimals... YOU ARE IGNORANT, WHITES ROB THESE TRUCKS JUST AS MUCH...ACTUALLY YOU ALL STARTED THIS CRAP.....SHOULD I NAME ALL THE FAMOUS WHITE BANK ROBBERS OVER HISTORY....HMMMMMM
They should arrest that guard. The men who took the cash were clearly pulling away, being of no threat to the guard. I think attempted murder would be an appropriate sentence.
I find it hard to belive that they released the amount that was stolen. Now for a question. Is it common to shoot at thieves who are not shooting at you? LOL
Who knows how much money was actually in the bag - the media inflates stories so you will watch - no.1. No.2 - If it was an inside job the guard would not fired at all, and had a gun put to the back of his head - making him fearing for his life, no wonder he mis-fired. All in all, that was a good score and well planned robbery heist.
\i think people should start looking at WAR and why every single one has happened,, while people sit around thinking ,, oh youre fighting for the country.. NO ,, YOURE JUST A PAWN IN THE BIGGER PICTURE OF THE REAL GREED OUT THERE,, WAKE UP PEOPLE
da guard had somethin to do with it if u dnt think so den your a fuckin ideot y did he pause so long b4 shooting and y did he only shoot at the ground come on people fuckin use your heads n stop givin it
These heists aren't good for the armored car company's business. Many of their clients get the feeling that they aren't capable of keeping the money secure and switch to a different armored car company.
Shit these dudes didn't have to pull an elaborate heist in a bank or anything.....1.8 million!! muthafukkers had it toooo damn easy!! Pretty sure it was an inside job!
Yea dude is pacing, waiting for the armored truck like its the pizza man.. oh and there just happens to be nearly 2 mill in the tiny bag. And he aims 3 shots at the ground like a 12 year old girl shooting her daddy's gun for the first time. Yea, I am confident this is not an inside job!!
Why do you keep the money in bags? Is this what all companies does in North America? That is just stupid! In Sweden we use end-to-end-systems. The robbers never get money anymore and if they can open the cases 90% of the money is ruined. Plus we don´t use handguns. That just make the robbers more aggressive
Is it a lie because you say it is, or because you have facts & research saying it is so? And our job is to make sure the robbers dont get any money right? So how can the end to end system be crap?
se me hace que es un autorobo , lo veo muy ilogico que el policia no desenfunde su arma rapidamente y otra que peguen sus tiros en el suelo siendo que no tien la presion de que le esten apuntando
Shooting at a moving vehicle with a double action revolver (I'm assuming that's the weapon he was using, most armored guards use them) in a high stress situation is pretty tough. I'm not surprised his shots went wild.
Yeah, it's why I prefer guns with light trigger pulls, such as the Springfield XD, Smith & Wesson MP, Glock, or Para-Ordinance LDA over double action revolvers. Those long trigger pulls can wreak havok on your aim, especially in a stressfull sitiattion
To me, the most suspicouis thing in the video was the fact that the robber didn't take the guard's gun before making his getaway. It would not have taken much effort. He already had the guard held up at gun-point, so all he would have had to do was just reach down and pull it out of the holster.
The fact that he let the guard keep his gun, knowning full well there was a chance it could be used against him, seems a bit odd. Then again, there are plenty of stupid criminals out there.
Whatta a cheap operation. THAT much money therre should have been a 2nd man for the messenger. I used to work for Brinks here in Seattle. That was so stupid...
those kinds of things are obvious bro, and if you're going to rob a car you spend a little more time doing research than just watch similar news stories
I work for an armored car company as well (in BC Canada), and our newer vehicles allow both crew members to be off the truck while still protecting the liability on board. The "messenger/custodian alone" system scares the crap out of me....as for the poor guy shooting up the pavement, for the media to sublimely suggest that he was somehow involved in the robbery as an "inside participant" is to...I'd like to see how these jerkoffs would respond to someone shoving a gun in your neck...assholes
1.8 million to a check cashing place? The favorite of hold up guys? The messenger should have had a 3rd man to watch for trouble. I work for an Armored Car company out of Las Vegas. Anything over 250k is suppose to have a 3rd man.
Not ruling out any motive in a 1.8 million dollar theft. Lol great writing.
