  • RESPECT!!

  • I think the sound went out on the video when you passed Warp 8! Love the ride!

  • Man, that small block is throwing that thing around like a rag doll. Nice work. (from New Zealand)

  • that right there...just put a smile on my face =)

  • Now that's how you drive a Mustang! I hate when guys baby their rides. Push that thing to it's limits!

  • @MrCleanPolo Exactly! I can`t understand, why some people buy themselfes racecars, even when it`s old, and drive it like a VW Polo. Drive it warm and kick it until die valves come out of your exhaust! Life is to short to take it easy!!

  • <3 meep

  • wow nice driving skills. watching u steer that thing made me be thankful i got power steering in my 66 lol my friends doesnt and that thing is a bitch to steer hha

  • love how you drive the shelby how it's supposed to be driven :) sounds and looks great!

  • i think i just... yep. i just jizzed on myself

  • i wonder do the 1966 Honda civics go this well ohhhhhh wait..... all they had was rice

  • You are a really good driver man and brave nice car man.

  • most excellent

  • that ole ford runs!

  • What kind of engine you got in there, how much did it cost, jw because I'm saving up to restore a mustang and hopefully clone a Shelby GT350.

  • Where did you get that steering wheel?

  • It's an old Les Leston. Same size and dish as 65 wheel. Original wheel hanging on my shop wall.

  • @kenfirch Thank You! Do you know of any aftermarket ones?

  • Oh hell yea! Thanks for posting for us poor folk, haha

Early GT350's were my favorite car back in high school in the late '70's, Even got my parents to buy me the 1977 book "Shelby's Wildlife" I had drooled over at the bookstore when I was in the hospital for a couple of days, lol Had to settle for the modded 94 Lightning and 95 Cobra I currently have. Seeing the new Boss 302 and Shelby in the dealer showroom the other day was sweet, and painful. ;) Thanks again for posting!

  • hell yeah thanks for driving hard.

  • This sucker has fangs!

  • great driving skills. I love this car. Well done sir

  • BEAST!

  • Now THAT'S what I like to see. music to my ears...solid lifter 306hp tri-y's and a toploader

  • Now THAT'S what I like to see.

  • We want more !!!!!!!

  • doing this on the street isnt OK. You just endangered that person on the side of the road, your passenger and self and the other ppl around you all for a second of fun. Youll lose this thing if the cops saw you as the laws are painful now about street racing. It aint 1975 anymore! Take to the track.

  • Beautiful car. I WILL own one one day....when I make my millions.... :-p

  • thats how you drive them cars, good video and cool car

  • fuck camaros

  • you mention its not a trailer queen, but quite honestly i hate the concept. cars are a passion for a reason, if your going to spend years restoring them or hell just financing one you might as well take it out every night and run the tread off it.

  • it's about time someone actually drove one, i laughed the whole time watching this video in pure joy - thanks!!

  • That is so badass. I love that U-Turn. I did that kind of a U-Turn in my 75 Camaro. Felt almost better than sex I believe. :3

PS "Kid you can't handle that car." kid- "No, that car can't handle me." *walks away like a badass.*

  • I would give my soul for that car, beautiful ride sir.

  • Damn I love that spin around!

  • Nice car buddy. One of my favorites.

  • i bet that walker in the first pull was like wtf

  • I WANT IT NOWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW

  • Awesome ride but kinda risky with the sun blazing away in your eyes.

  • Anytime the car is idling, my computers subwoofer rattles like crazy :)

  • thanks for sharing! I just bought a 66 Mustang shelby Gt 350 conv. I am waiting on the car. I will get it in may :-)

  • yep yep thats how i drive daily but im also only 22

  • 0:36 for all those who want to hear that amazing slam into 2nd gear.

  • desde argentina un fanatico de dodge se saca el sombrero ante tanta potencia

  • power steering? lol probably not. sweet car, thanks for driving the car the way it was built to be drivin. i hate when people have those cars just sitting in their garages not doing anything.

  • 1st gear, revs up, 2nd geaFUCKMYFACEPEELEDOFF?!?!!?!?!

  • Dude...I hate you.

  • This was alot of fun. Are those rims off a Pantera? They make the car look extra-stealthy :)

  • Yep. Now running Torque Thrust II's, 7 x16 front, 8 x 16 rear. Pantera wheels in the attic for now.

  • Hats off to you sir for treating that car like it should be driven and not sit in someones heated garage as a "show piece".

  • shouldnt there be a tach built into the center of the dash pad if its a true shelby?

  • That was true for 1965, which had a tach and oil pressure gauge mounted in a dash pod in the center of the dash pad on the street cars. The 66 Mustangs already came with an oil pressure gauge, and Ford's bean counters came in and looked for ways to save time and money. So for 66 it was mounted as shown. Some 66 owners did retrofit their 66 with the 65 style since it did look cool and they probably wanted a mechanical oil gauge.

  • WANT!

  • That thing HAULS ASS!!! Love it. I had a 1965 289 fastback with a California black plate. It was the bomb. And it sounded great, ran great, and was so much fun. Same paint scheme, but white with black stripes. Had a fist-sized Grateful Dead steal your face sticker centered at the bottom of the rear window that I always got compliments for as the perfect finishing touch. That car rocked. Yours rocks even harder. Nothing like that volcano you got under that hood. Keep haulin' ass!

  • Beautiful, just beautiful! Takes you right back to 1966 when life was much simpler and fun! What a great Shelby!....................

  • WOO, that soo has to have the K block...nice u turn...see GM will never have that spirit....

  • I already seen this one...like 16 times. or 17 i forget

  • this is pure sex.

  • @LieutenantLove

Don't tell anybody.. i got an erection..

  • This video never gets old.

  • I really hate what you did to the video at 1:21

  • :) I guess I'm due to make part 2...

  • @kenfirch

Sure! This is way better than porn ;D

  • @kenfirch yea please man your driving skills are amazing and that camera perspective tops the feeling :D u should do some more drifts and burnouts :D and a fly-by

  • Comment removed

  • @kenfirch with a better camera too! no more 240p videos i could hardly tell it was screaming when u took off from a dig

  • Man, that car is a real terror. must be a blast to drive...

  • wicked!!!!

  • I've had the pleasure of actually being on one of those rides. You definitely drive cars like they were meant to be driven! Great video.

  • fucking awesomeness in motion

  • fuckin beautiful

  • Fuck yea! It's about fucking time that somebody drove one of these properly!

  • Awesome! My buddy Jon had 2 Shelby GT-350s back in the early 1980s. He had a BOSS 302 in a 1965 coupe and later, a 1969 BOSS 429 too. Talk about a LOT of FORD horsepower. I always liked his super clean, low mileage, white/blue 1966 GT-350. Ahhh. What memories as a young man. :) I later owned 2 BOSS 302s, a 429 1971 Sportsroof and a rough 1969 BOSS 429. Wished I'd had that 429 restored, but barring that, a light weight 1965 or 1966 Shelby GT-350 would have been the best!

    Randy C-17A .

  • i love this car!!!

  • 0:23 is my favorite part--What an effen BEAST!

  • Haha.. nice U-turn!

  • you drive like steve mc queen

  • Thats how its done. So few videos on Youtube truly please me. Thank you sir and keep that Shelby rollin the way it was meant to.

  • Nice ride man. Basic...Clean...A beast!

  • Driving them they way they were meant to be!

  • thats how a shelby should be ridden!!!!

  • ever since i first heard and saw this car when i was 5 i loved it and when i turn 18 or 16 i wanna find one and buy it...

  • Oh the balls on you sir. The balls. I couldn't even fathom doing it to my 66 Mustang Fastback 2+2.

  • Man, i love your car.. ;-)

  • Now this car is a true american classic, the sound of that engine is amazing

  • so beautiful car, and this song so amazaing! \o/ I love it

  • yea!!!! thats the way to do it. great video and stang. hope you continue to enjoy it for many many years to come.

  • That's such an incredible car. I'm glad to see it being driven and being driven like it's meant to be.

  • "This old Shelby is definitely not a trailer queen, so let's DRIVE IT LIKE SHELBY INTENDED!"

    Corrected your description :D

  • Good god, I haven't lived yet. That lustful, ball quenching throb is just sooooo.... oooooohhhhhhh. One day my friends, one fucking day!

  • thanx , more on the car. its history please.love to hear those stories. the vidio looks like a 60,s peter fonda speed movie. oh and keep your foot in the carb.

  • Absolutely incredible! You must love your days off cruising in a car that is a part of racing history! That 289 really makes that car gallop!

(I think you car is a bit more fun than a "trailer queen)

  • Very Nice.

How much is such a car in a good condition in the US?

  • what a nice car !!! i love mustangs

  • anybody asks "why does a muscle car make sense," look at that cockpit, I mean you really are in something RAW and manly.

  • Oh, yeah!!!! That's a sexy beast!!

  • that truck must have been scared.

  • When he did the launch, as soon as he slammed it into 2nd it sounded like a volcano erupted and he just took off. That was a really cool spin at the end there by the way

  • nice , NO cruising posing bullshit here , real sports car being driven right.

    well done sir!

  • Wow, driving in the true spirit of a GT350!! Is the 289ci/306 hp engine stock from shelby or is he upgraded?

  • It's been warmed over a bit, slightly bigger cam, ported 351 heads. But that was over 20 years ago, lots more stuff available now. It's old school stuff, but it still runs pretty strong.

  • nice... beautiful '66 GT350
