I should also mention, do NOT try it unless you are experienced with hallucinogenic drugs, it lasts over 30 hours, and if you're not prepared you will suffer greatly from the experience.
@CurttoonSr Did you do it? I wouldn't consider that Ayahuasca whatsoever. Pure Ayahuasca is a brew made from Baanisteriopsis Caapi vine (MAOI-Harmine) and usually 90% of the time, Chacruna (Psychotria Viridis). Some shamans add many more plants to the brew, including Chaliponga and Datura to name a couple.
I'd be interested to know how this worked out for you. If anything its an Ayahuasca analog.
I just had a 1-day trip to Chicago but it was a bad trip- I was sick with a bad cold the entire time! And I got really high too- went up in the Willis (Sears) Tower.
You don't need drugs to reach the "Godhead"... with meditation you can do this completely sober. Drugs may replicate a spiritual experience but in my opinion this is the weak way to connect to something bigger, and if people are not prepared for such channels to be opened, even temporarily, it can cause major and irreparable damage... Try meditating on what you know and even sober, you CAN make walls move, patterns appear out of nowhere, and may even unlock the greater powers in you... w/o drugs
(Cont. from comment below) ...like when you are loading a video and it pauses to load, and for some reason when it starts again it speeds up very quickly? It's like the info stopped behind your eyes before getting to your brain. Most likely in those few "seconds" you were staring at the clock for hours or watching the sun for hours. It's really not good to trip like this as much as you do, even if this was years ago.. I hope you check your health regularly and anticipate any long-term effects.
What is scary about this is most likely what happens on this drug is it DOES distort time. You ever seen those videos where they have one person in the middle of a crowd not moving, while everyone zips and flies around them? In reality, to make this video, that person stood there for hours to make a three minute video with people walking by. That's most likely what happened to you. Your mind was perceiving time differently, slowing you down incredibly and taking a LONG time to process...
well well.... my many exp... i m a huge lover of long trips... but have had my up and downs with this... one bad time was the feeling of everything going white like baddddd white.. sweeting heart going nuts felt like my body wanted to shut down (as if i was going to passout!) ... but this was a mix with mdma.... other times have had good fun.... be safe with this even to this day i only take a common dose... even tho i know i could push it to a diffrent lvl..
Dont be scared of a 3 days of trip, this is nothing believe me,Im an aprenticce of a shipibo amazonian shaman, and I take a beverage with many plants, some ingredients are ayahuasca(bannistosteris caapi),chacuruna(psicotria viridis) and thoe (brugmansia sanguinea),the other 50 plants are unknowed for me,but well...my trip was along a month of duration, and the peak of experience was one month after taking only one dose, the great knowledge of the mind and soul are in native ancient indigenous people
I felt this kind of pains in the chest, and I think is a neuropathic pain, the cause is maybe the intense work of the nervous system in the psicodelique experience, and even more when the duration is too long, the nervous get tired and burned his reserves of vitamins, the solution is simple for me,just take B vitamin complex,B1,B6 y B12 and magnesium.
I know you probably think you are doing some kind of good service providing your experiences of different drugs on here, but your NOT your just glorifing them which is a dangerous persuit when you have a large young audience watching your videos, considering taking drug. Re-think how your videos will affect others and the harm they can cause.
Is this similar to sitting down and having a cup of tea ? I used Typhoo with semi-skimmed milk and water from Severn Trent out of a tap in Birmingham. I then brewed the tea in a french earthenware glazed teapot. I sat down and had several Almond biscuits from Waitrose, which I bought from Mere Green near Sutton Coldfield. Throughout this I had an ECG strapped onto my body and had a fully prepared emergency room in the next room withmedical professionals. It was a very nice experience.
Was the teapot warmed before hand?An old lady I knew in Basingstoke used to warm hers and then apply a multi -coloured patchwork tea cosy. The digestives that she served (in the age old tradition) were buttered lightly on one side, opening up previously unheard of vistas in my consciousness as we listened to the Archers. An experience I shall never forget.
I never thought to prepare for a medical emergency, but fortunately I remain as fit as a fiddle. The old lady is sadly no longer with us.
Lasts for days. If you think acid is long you haven't seen anything. Staying awake for too long can cause psycosis and outright illusions (walking off cliffs).
Also it is lethal and you can over dose as many cases in Sweden. Some having fingers amputated.
The chest pain is pretty concerning but that does sound like anxiety though. I had it this summer and had the same symptoms.
Again, beign 1/5 as potent as lsd, and being toxic, why bother.
question. I stay up late a lot due to working two jobs. One night it felt like my brain activity felt really active and I started to panic. Days later I delveloped a heavy heart beat, and know I get winded like an old man, very tired.
While watching a movie, during all the explosions I had some kind of attack. couldn't catch my breath, felt faint. My doctors found no heart irregularities, but I'm curious, is there some kind of vitamin solution I could try.

i remember bromo dragonfly, it was popular here in sweden around the same time.. or a few years later 2002-2005
anyways, it killed a lot of people LOL :/
the dosage was tricky, the drug was also completely legal until 2006 or smth, sold on the internet, often in very large packages containing 20.000 doses.. But it didn't say how many doses it was, so people just took it on their finger and licked it LOL
Those who survived often had legs or arms removed.
Respect to anyone who takes research chemicals but your taking a huge risk. I would only take drugs that have been used and fully researched like marijuana and magic mushrooms once and a while.

I've been sitting on some 5-Meo-DiPT (Foxxy) for a while, and have some reservations about taking it. Some of my friends were saying it's really uncomfortable, but I've heard positive reports about it as well. Research chemicals are usually hit or miss like that. Except for 2C-I. Hey, thanks for answering my message! You really pulled through for me. I really needed your advice on something and you totally responded and everything worked out.

Your description sounds like an anxiety attack which can mimmic a heart attack. I really appreciate your descriptions of the trips that you take. I have never heard of bromo-dragonfly. Where does it come from and what is it a derivative of? Thanks, Mark
Holy shit, 36 hours? I can't stand drugs that last over 8 hours. My first long lasting drug was DOB after a 'rave'. It was a horrible experience. My thoughts were all extremely dark and gruesome, I had a huge body load, my legs and feet were uncomfortable, and I couldn't sleep one wink until the stuff was out of my system. I was tired too, I tried to sleep on the 15th hour but that was downhill quickly. The day was hot, the power went out once or twice..
It doesnt sound like a trip I would want to take. It sounds like a bad trip I had about 10 years ago on some good blotter except mine only lasted an hour or 2.
I had a similar experience about 22 years ago with some really potent weed.I actually decided to never smoke weed again after that. But then about 10 years later,I had an allergic reaction to an antibiotic and had identical symptoms.I'm fairly certain that the pot I smoked back then had some kind of additive that I was allergic to. I suggest that it's possible you may have had an allergic reaction to some aspect of the Bromo-DragonFLY.Did you have the sensation of throat spasms or swallowing?
No, I didn't feel throat spams or a swollen throat. But, from what I remember, I was just finishing up that last few days of antibiotics at the time for strep throat. I didn't have strep anymore, but I was still on the antibiotics. Maybe there was some sort of drug interaction that caused the chest pains...
Worst drug I've ever tried, felt sick for about 18h. Did it at a rave festival, and a short bit of dark psy that I've heard was looping in my head the entire trip. Had problems to get my eyes focused, and when I looked at stuff it started twisting into spirals to the beat of the music in my head. I had a lot of blurred OEVs and lots of sound hallucinations, like ppl calling my name or saying all kinds of weird stuff when I was alone. It sometimes felt like I was shrinking or growing in size...
...My mouth felt like it was full of gravel and tasted like metal. I tried brushing my teeth, but it didnt help, but while doing it my mouth felt like a big cave and the brushing ecoed in my head. Most of the time a felt pretty cold, like I had a fever. Sleeping was impossible since I had the sounds in my head and when I closed my eyes white lights started flashing. Only good thing about the trip was that while I felt like shit, everything around me was very beautiful in some wierd way.
Did you eat during the very long trip? I really don't know enough about the experience for an educated guess, but the pain could be your stomach complaining for lack of food.
I experienced pains down my left arm and pointed to my left, but I said right meaning what the viewer would see as right. I should have said that better. Anyway, sorry for the confusion...
StupidKunt09: The heart is located on the left side of the chest. If you're having a heart attack, the pain should be in the left arm and left side of the chest. Not the right.
I experienced pains down my left arm and pointed to my left, but I said right meaning what the viewer would see as right. Anyway, sorry for the confusion...
Aha, then it doesn't sound very good. I'm glad you are OK now though. There has been a lot of deaths occured by Bromo Dragonfly and amputations (of what I've heard, don't know how much the people suffering from death or amputation took but...).
Pain in your right arm is called "referred pain." Your mind is not good at interpreting pain signals from your viscera, so it "thinks" the pain is in your arm--but in fact it was in your heart.
What you describe is EXACTLY like a "heart attack."
What probably happened was that you had a spasm of a cardiac artery--and effectively DID have a "heart attack" of a sort. It's possible that it was mild enough that you didn't damage heart tissue--and thus there's no evidence it happened.
I've been reading a lot of erowid experiences on this, it seems like some really sketchy stuff. Sounds like one of those pointless substances that you don't really benefit from.
Your videos are really good. And informative rather than childish like some other people who joke about being high.

MrUrbanExplorer 2 years ago 4
... all drugs are 'chemicals'
5-Bromo-Dragonfly (ABDF) is a phenethylamine class drug.
It has a bromine atom at the 4' position of the phenyl moeity (the 4' is considered the 'active' position of a phenethylamine).
There is also 2 'furanyl' groups on the phenyl positions 2,3 and 5,6 which make the chemicals structure look superficially like a dragonfly.
Its chemical IUPAC name ... if you care is Bromo-benzodifuranyl-isopropylamine
It falls into the 'research chemical' class of drug lore

Most of the time a felt pretty cold, like I had a fever. Sleeping was impossible since I had the sounds in my head and when I closed my eyes white lights started flashing. Only good thing about the trip was that while I felt like shit, everything around me was very beautiful in some wierd way.

Did you eat during the very long trip? I really don't know enough about the experience for an educated guess, but the pain could be your stomach complaining for lack of food.

if you were having a heart attack it would have gone down your left arm and maybe up your jaw a little bit so don't worry about that.
