Which do you prefer, English or Western? I find it confusing being a dual rider, I want to neckrein when I ride English and try way too hard to keep my lower leg still riding western so I bounce quite a bit :P
@Intikama i cant really choose. since ive ridden western and im just starting english i guess im a little more excited about english riding but i do love western! heres a type to stop bouncing on western: sit in the sit as you are going into a walk and put like all weight in ur butt. thats what my trainers told me
@xWesternGirlx Ok thanks for that. Also, I find it easier to sit deep in a western saddle if I allow my lower leg a bit of movement. Some people tell me this is correct, others say its messy. In English riding its gospel that your leg musn't move. What about western?
@Intikama yeah its not as proper as english but you really shouldnt move your legs that much. except when ur doing hardcore stuff liek barrels poles reining a lot of that stuff.
