  • Thank you very much! good performance!

    A hug from Chile,

    Gustavo

  • Drop D tuning. Very nicely done. Add the harmonics and I give you a 5/5. :D)

  • Taylor 310ce on the wall?

I think this is the song used in "Away from Her" when the couple are dancing

    What a great song

  • smooth relaxed stroll under the 'moon'...just wondering why you don't use the harmonics too...?

  • beautiful. my favorite song to dance with my husband. very nice version. thought I wouldn't like the lower voice at first, but gave it a second and realized you sound smooth and sexy. thank you.

  • @dougpannep - Thank you for a wonderful comment, I have been called many things, but this beats them all!

    Cheers - Lee

  • very nice, you got some talent.

  • nice job !

  • Very nice rendition of a great Neil Young song. Guitar sounds great.

  • @MrJimdeb - Thanks, I did this on my Crafter FX electro-acoustic, good sound but fairly inexpensive. Cheers ~ Lee

  • wow man, that was just awesome

  • Thanks very much, glad you enjoyed it.

    Cheers ~ Lee

  • Thank you ~ Lee

  • well done man. i did a cover of "old man" check it out and let me know what you think.

  • hey man, very impressive. i was wondering where you learned this song from. i play it a little differently but your version sounds 100 times better. ......... check out my version of my my hey hey . i used vocal melody in my verison

  • Thanks, I can't remember where I first learned this, I always used to include the harmonic riff, but it never felt right, so I switched to the strum.

    Cheers ~ Lee

  • Great job! I think i like the way you play it better! awesome awesome love it!

  • Thanks so much, glad you like it.

    Cheers ~ Lee

  • Awesome job! I love Neil Young, one of the greatest of our time. Check out my version of Old Man if you get a chance. My first video so please be kind!

  • Hey thanks! I'll be over to check out your video.

    Cheers ~ Lee

  • You playing drop D?

  • Yes, hit the D on the 6th before the main strum on the intro riff, makes all the difference.

    Cheers Lee

  • wow great job...didnt realise that this is quite easy to learn...well done

  • Thanks, you're right, it isn't as difficult as it first sounds.

    Cheers ~ Lee

  • It would be great if you did (I'm a beliver)by the Monkees.. Bill

  • Now there's a thought, I might just give it a try someday.

    Cheers ~ Lee

  • very great guitar job ! what kind of guitar is that?

  • Hey thanks! It's a Crafter FX-630EQ-P electro-acoustic. Although it has a solid spruce top, it has a round plastic back, so it isn't very loud until plugged in, but a cracking sound when amplified.

    Cheers ~ Lee

  • Great job!!!!!!!!!

  • Thank you, my first comment from Belgium!

    Cheers ~ Lee

  • sounds real good can i get the chords from you

  • No problem.

    Cheers ~ Lee

  • You're guitar sounds f'ing amazing.

  • Hey thanks!

    Lee

  • Two points: You can sing well, but not loud enough, try to make it so you hear your voice from outside of your head, not just inside it. Also can you send me your chords for this song. Get that volume up don't be frightened to let them have it. Cheers.

  • Thank you for the constructive comment. I have tried to crank it up a bit in later videos, I have a new mic now that helps too. I'll send the chords over.

    Cheers ~ Lee

  • Great Job...I'm gong camping next month up in Washington and this is a must campfire song...can I have the tab/chords? This sounds just like the record.

  • You're welcome, thanks for the comment.

    Lee

  • Singings not that good but playings amazing good job mr american.

  • The voice has never been my forte, I'm glad you like the guitar work though, thanks.

    Lee

  • can i have the tabs and chords please? Thanks, and you did a terrific job :D how long did it take you to learn that?

  • No problem! Thanks for the great comment. I guess it took two or three evenings to crack it, but I posted after a week or so.

    Cheers ~ Lee

  • Thank you.. learned so much.. please send chords if you can.. :)) Thanks again.

  • I hope you are getting on OK with the tabs?

    Cheers ~ Lee

  • Very good !!! I'm going to learn it tonight and i wanted to see if someone was playing it with only one guitar here...good job !

    Lee

    Lee

  • Loved it....great cover....

  • Thank you. Now is this dad or Hannah with the fabulous voice? Either way I appreciate your comment very much.

    Cheers ~ Lee

  • It's the dad! My daughter's the one with the voice....I'm just struggling with the guitar! Great cover...best one I've seen.

  • Lol, thanks, I think we all struggle with the guitar! Let me know if you want the tab / chords.

    Cheers ~ Lee

  • Thanks Lee, the chords would be great. You seem to have taken a more simplistic route chord wise than some of the tutorials but with a much nicer, calmer and more meldic feel. Thanks again.

  • They're on their way.

  • Excellent cover of MY FAVORITE Neil's song. Good job man. It could be possible if you help me to figure out the tab?

  • Thank you. I'll try and send a tab over.

    Cheers ~ Lee

  • Hey thank you! I will shuffle over and take a peek.

  • great stuff is your top E string tuned down to D

  • Thanks. Yes it is, when playing the first riff you can use the bottom 3 strings as a D5 chord (played open) between the main phrase.
