how do you bend the note please? no matter how I suck, i guess I suck. And I am still struggling to make single notes accurately, it's very hit and miss, is there a more indepth tutorial for absolute beginners please?
Jon, I was a drummer first, so it seemed perfectly natural to rhythmically milk notes from time to time, but this exercise really helps demonstrate how effective and diverse it can be. What do you think of this exercise I came up with? Milk the two draw all you want. Then once you've left, don't touch it again for as long as you can stand it, milking the non-Tonic notes for at least one or two choruses. Once you finally leave "home" explore the whole neighborhood before returning.
hi! i bought this suzuki easyrider a few weeks ago... anyway... I couldnt play the 2 draw and the 3 draw properly... unless i pinch my nose while playing, i coudn't get decentnotes form those 2 holes. I also tried inhaling through my nose while drawing from 2&3... which somehow worked but it wasnt comfortable playing that way. is there a problem with my harp is it my playing that needs improvement. thanks and more power!!! I've been using your books and cassettes for years. Your teaching is so useful, but light-hearted. This video is especially great. I find it hard to get the right rhythm into my riffs. This lets me work on the rhythm on just one hole, which will be a great stepping stone.
another great lesson jon. Thanx! I need all the help I can get. Tryin to learn how to play with music, i.e. muddy, cotton, horton ect. Only been playin 11 months and without your lessons and inspiration, I probably would have already given up. THANX!!!!

Do you normally play cross-harp, or are you playing same harp/same key?
Thanks, Ken
