  • If you remove the disconnector from a semi-auto AR-15 all it does is let the hammer ride the carrier down. With an un-shrouded firing pin it would probably jam. With a proper shrouded pin it just decocks without the firing pin actually being struck.

  • All guns are application specific. If i was going into urban warfare, a jungle, or another close range shithole, I'd use an AK all the way. However, in an open area, temperate enviroment, or anything not real dirty where I need accuracy, i would use an AR-15. The gun that is truly evolved is the SCAR. .308, M14 bolt system with lower tolerances(so it doesnt jam) a folding stock, and a fair rate of fire... Mmmmm sexy :)

  • dude.. Check out HK416, you will love it.

    search hk vs colt :)

  • the ak47 is an incredible weapon. not well known for its accuracy. but it is extremely reliable.

to bash the ak47 and to call it a piece of junk is a very ignorant statement. the ak wasnt built to be accurate.

i own both, an ar15 and an ak47. they are both good weapons and they do exactly what they were designed to do.

    both platforms are truely genius.

  • Get yourself an AR 15 chambered in 6.8 SPC with an LWRC piston system and you have a bonafied AK killer.

  • ak's and ar15's are good and bad in different situations. ak is reliable and hardly fail and hard hitting at clsoe range. but lack distance and accuracy compared to ar 15. The ar15 are always needing to be cleaned. if done properly and mantained will be fine and with the power the ar15 comes several different calibers.

  • fukn airsoft

  • get a real gun.

  • "get a real gun" That IS a real gun

  • No,AR's are crap,a REAL rifle is an AK,AK's rule!

  • I love my AK47 too, but the AR is a solid, proven design as well. Calling it crap just because you prefer the AK platform is childish, and uncalled for. I would take an AK over an AR in most situations, but that is personal preference, and not a representation of either gun's quality.

  • Have you ever fired one or are you just going off what a few people on the internet say?

  • You've single-handedly shot down every single argument you could have possibly made.

I have an AK myself and I love it to death, it's my main assault rifle, but I would never call the AR-15 a piece of crap. It's an entirely different gun and I honestly believe they shouldn't be compared.

They don't jam with every spec of dirt, they aren't hunks of shit, and the American army is not stupid for continuing to use them.

  • too bad AK's rounds start falling out the sky at a short distance. you sacrifice distance, recoil, and accuracy... for power and durability. no gun is perfect.

  • you keep worshiping that gun. nonetheless, other rifles will excel in places the AK lack.

  • coming from a guy who uses the word "intelligences" to describe a single person's mind. get your plural and singular nouns right, and get back to me. and in the meantime, pray to your god of AK's for more intelligence.

  • wow u sir are a dumbass the ak lacks accuracy fire control and distance and dont deny it its proven

  • your lack of weaponry knowledged can only be compare to ur ignorance, sir different tech u stand at 300 yards with and ak and i with a ar/m16 platform and ur relatives will have for sure to look for a mortuary parlor for ur behind,ak were good for spray and pray thats the end of it,good weapon system but not the best--zombie18d

  • neither will the m16 you fucking dipshit. atleast i will be able to hit something more then 200 yards away fucktard

  • @dinan776

i can accurately shoot my ak at 400 yards. and im not stretching the truth either.

im not saying that the ak rivals the m16 in accuracy at all. out of all 12 guns i have, its ny far, the most inaccurate.

but to an extent the ak is very misunderstood.

in trained hands. it will shoot farther than most people would think.

but it was built to be thrown into the hands of an untrained solider. so you wont hear much about them making shots from far away

  • Great training aid, looks better than Multiple Integrated Laser Engagement System (MILES) .

Save you a ton of cash on ammo, more realistic recoil than 5.56 blanks that sound like a cap guns with a BFA,all you need now is the loud report that comes with live ammo

  • Is it legal?

  • nope

  • BIZZARE

  • Ok I guess I'm misundertsanding the purpose of this unit. Is it for dry fire training simulation or is it for converting a semi-auto AR to full-auto for live fire? If it is for live fire do NFA rules still apply for unregistered lower recievers? (probably a dumb question)

  • if you watch the assembly video, it's basically a special bolt, with a special magazine that is hooked up to a tank of compressed air or co2. he's not actually firing anything but air. it's a training aid, or it's supposed to be at least.

  • The kit will allow semi or Full Auto simulation from a SEMI AUTO AR-15(or bolt action AR for you European/California guys). It will give you auto fire in a semi with semi disconncetor removed. IT WILL GIVE YOU SELECT FIRE IN A SELECT FIRE M-16. The advantage is that its much cheaper and practical to train in Automatic with a non restricted Semi.

  • click on my name Montage11 and see the assembly process, takes less than a minute. Also have video of it shooting in Semi. The new generation is 'tetherless' and has no cords. Uses standard CO2 caplets in the magazine and you just pop the mag in for about 100 shots. We have them for AR-15, MP-5, M-249, Uzi, Berreta, Glock, 1911, S&W M&P, Sig Sauer, etc, etc. A paintball tank lasts about 2000 shots and a $15 dollar 'scuba' tank about 15,000. PERFECT PRACTICE 1000'S OF TIMES A DAY!

  • The Kit costs $2,000. The Kit drops in, in place of the AR-15 bolt. It allows Semi OR Full auto...(NOT SELECT FIRE). It fires a laser downrange with each shot activating any laser activated target on the market(Beamhit 700 @$300, Lasershot @$10,000). "Auto Simulation" is achieved by removing the semi disconnector and a 'slam fire' mode with semi parts happens. DO NOT DO THIS WITH A LIVE FIREARM...IT IS DANGEROUS (the round could predetonate). This autofire is achieved with NO M-16 parts.

  • how the hells does that work
