In my humble opinion Paddy is a much better singer songwriter than ~ NEil Tennant check out when love breaks down, cars and girls, life of surprises etc. And I do actually like the pet shop boys as well.

Got something amazing to say as im back again listening ..... AGAIN!

So me and my sister have always had this thing about KYLIE as we was kids etc bla bla. Anyway we went to her concert for old times sake and to have a laugh. Im standing there and 1 hour in there is silence and she done a version of this and 2 seconds in i knew it and was totally blown away as i think it was just me that knew it.

Furthermore i started crying haha cos i love the song so much.

there is also a more heart felt orchestral slow version of IF YOU DON'T LOVE ME as well == also there is a voice only accapella version == and KYLIE MINOGUE also has covered this song as well with only a piano ...

One of my fave songs of all time ! Kind of brings tears to my eyes each time i play it man ! Chords are amazing , Lyrics just hit me so hard !

ha ha... This sounds like as if Neil Tennant had given them a little help. I wish Prefab Sprout had more DISCO songs like this. One thing I like about Prefab Sprout is that they can easily go from jazzy-bossa-nova (HORSING AROUND) to rock (GOLDEN CALF, BONNY, ATLANTIS) to disco (IF YOU DON'T LOVE ME) to country, to ballads and make beautiful music in all these genres.
