MTH is pretty good quality,but frankly someone who wants to buy MTH equipment must have a job that makes them a six figure paycheck -_-

One of my MTH SD70ACe's has had to be sent back twice now for shorting out decoders. The first time they re-motored it. Its shorting out again and I sent it off again. Who knows when itll be back or if it will actually be fixed. Oh yeah, it took 12 weeks to get the loco back the first time...

The Athearns look nice, but that's where it ends. Crappy bulbs just waiting to burn out so you can take the shell off and break all the detail parts while you try to replace them.
