it says Colostrum is from milk or something like that? so can people who are in tolerate to milk use it? also how are you suppose to apply it to skin if it is in powder form?
do you also know anything else that is good for healing acne scars??
@MrLifewatcher Lactose intolerance can be reversed with colostrum in many cases. Yes anyone can use it. You mix it with a bit of water in your palm to make a paste to apply it to the skin.
@MrLifewatcher You leave it on and it will dry and after maybe an hour or so you can just wipe it off, it'll be crumbly. Mixing it with yogurt works well as well as yogurt is great for the skin too.
I agree 100% wholeheartedly that diet and exercise affect appearance, and you do have great skin, but then how old are you? I see a lot of these anti-aging videos from the under 20 crowd who really haven't even begun, in earnest, the battle against aging. Meanwhile, I appreciate that you mentioned these nutrient rich oils - they're definitely not given enough thought or use. Argan Oil and Borage Oil are also excellent for the skin.
@medosin I realize being youngish my intention isn't to be a successful example of these things, I am simply sharing methods that have been scientifically proven to work as well as what I have seen work in other people including clients of mine. I don't discuss my age online for philosophical reasons.
Hi Zak. Do you personally still use kelp everyday like you used to? I just wondered if your regime in that regard has changed since moving onto animal products.
@hybridrachael I need to get back on the kelp, my local health food store is perpetually out of stock! I guess people are loading up on it like I am. Probably have it again by the new year.
I heard that cucumber is actually better than aloe vera for skin. Also I heard that castor oil is also very good for anti aging and even the ancient Egyptians used it for that purpose.
@Serb1anArchangel I wouldn't call cucumber "better" than aloe. It has different properties and would serve a different purpose. Aloe is one of the most astringent things you can ut on your skin.
I have a question about dairy. I know raw is better but it's not available here. Do you know if the Swiss consume raw or pasturised milk? And does pasturised dairy do more harm than good because of the heating and also homogenasation? I've gone around in circles on this and I'm not sure what to think about it anymore, lol.
@TheKnowledgevault The swiss have a lot of different milk available to them, I'm sure there's still some villages in the alps that drink unpasteurized milk, but I was mostly referring to the old pictures of the swiss such as the ones found in "Nutrition and Physical Degeneration".
I wouldn't consume pasteurized milk and especially homogenized milk. Raw cheese is available virtually everywhere if it's aged longer than 60 days.
i'm glad you spoke about h2o. viewers should be aware that 64oz. of water (what docs usually recommend we should all consume a day) maybe too much for some individuals and can lead to hypokalemia. that is a condition in which you can find yourself in when you drink too much water that imbalances your electrolytes and you can find yourself in the hospital. listen to your body and drink more but find a level that is right for you.
Have you heard of putting on 'magnesium oil' topically? some sort of magnesium chloride solution- it's not necessarily indicated for skin beauty but it's marketed to be therapeutic for all tissues
I realize that everyone has different opinions about what is right, and that's all great, i don't see what good it does when people are just shouting out their opinion on what's good or not, especially when it goes out of control with arguements.
Either way, whatever is "the right" way, keep on doing what you do, and i really hope to see you expanding your "teachings" as you'd probably be a great "teacher" :p
PS: You're looking great, and you're face is just more "full" if that's right so say.
@ThomasDeanNordlum I have never read or seen anything like that. send me a like if you have one. Besides, one of the plants I have is broader and darker green than the other and it looks like those in the china town (they sell them in china town in the grocery stores, but they may be irradiated, as the code starts with 3). It's super bitter, but I use it all over my body from time to time and sometime eat it without problems. I have them in two big buckets outside in summer, in winter, inside.
@ThomasDeanNordlum In David Wolfe's book "Superfoods" he explains why you should only consume the broad leaf aloe for internal consumption. We're talking leaves that are over 2 feet long. I've used them in elixir recipes in the past, search "recipe aloe lemonade" and it'll come up on my channel. The small leaves are great for external use and burns.
@SecretsOfLongevity i've seen that book in French at the library. I somewhat agree with him, but his energy no longer jives with mine. When I was in Venezuela last year, there were sabila (aloe) plants all over, and they weren't two feet long, maybe one foot. And mine are about that long. But I suppose you can aborb the good stuff through the skin anyway. who knows really. I also tend to think additive free tobacco is not that bad once in a while.
Great vid, as usual, Zak! But U forgot to put a link to the paper on carotenoids:) I'm doing pretty much everything from what U mentioned here and my akne is clearing up slowly, but not completely. I guess, the most improvemet I got after i stopped using any kind of commercial skin cleaning products + drinking water with lemon, aloe vera juice and honey every morning. But I eat quite a lot of fruits and carbs in order to charge my brain up for my job and I see a problem with it.
OK, sugars are evil but how can I cut back on glucose, fructose, complex carbs if it´s a Nr. 1 food for the brain? If the blood sugar is law, the brain gets lazy and tired. Having a very demanding intellectual job, how can I balance high need in sugars with insulin stuff, loosing weight, having clear skin ect.? What's the optimum brain diet to ur opinion?
@PerfekteTraum Watch this video of mine, approximately about 1/3 of the way in I talk about ketosis and how brain function is improved in this state: /watch?v=IRwOi2WKfyA
@50150187 i use artisianl, old school, local with the mother apple cider vinegar a few times a week as an stringent. see if you can find one at the market. in montréal, there are tons of apple orchards in québec, so you can find the old school producers. don't know for your area . . .but I suppose you could pay a ton of money for supplements. I do a little bit, but I am trying to move away from anything that is not from Québec (or the maritimes)
Topically, the oil cleansing method is fantastically effective too, especially if you use coconut oil instead of the normally-recommended sunflower oil.
for me, controlling allergies is the most pivotal part of helping my skin look healthy and soft. i don't consume it much, but olive oil made my skin great, and worked better than coconut oil which I found a bit clogging. great info.
I've tried a raw diet a couple of times... very high in sugars from fruits 80% of my daily consumption... and skin improves dramatically in a week or so... so I'm not sure about the carbohydrates part.
You are so hypnotizing:D You have made realy informative video about this Theme! Thank You!
P.S. I'm going to try Spirulina and some other tips.. wish me luck:D

noobarnoo 3 months ago
@noobarnoo This video I did thoroughly dismisses any perceived (completely made up) link between colostrum and tumour growth: /watch?v=D-H3iYnfl8E
Links 1 and 2 are specific to cancer and how colostrum is beneficial as part of a cancer treatment or recovery supplement.
