Maine is a good state geographically, but the people are bad. Vile, crude, violent, dangerous people. Stay away from Maine, or you will have big problems there with the people. They are territorial, like dogs. They hate outsiders. Rotten people. Nice scenery, but rotten people.

@CHINAA718 The economy in Portland Maine is bad. Most of the people there with good jobs grew up there and have all the right connections. You will be an outsider trying to make a living in a place where the few jobs available disappear before you have a shot at them. Make sure you either have a good job lined up or a good plan and some major savings because jobs are very hard to find and the ones you find pay so little that the low cost of living there is irrelevant.
