To do a union you need the right amount of hearts and then you hit y or x +the up on the pad.

SUPERSKARMORY PLEASE READ THIS!!! the ignis glyph is awesome against like giant skeletons and skeleton beasts i used it A LOT and if u have on the int boost and ignis in both hands you can beat the giants like about 10 seconds maybe a bit more cuz ignis hits so many time if pressed rapidly and it hits like over 20-30 dmg i used it so much seriosly GET IT its gonna help you so much! i used it on some giant skeletons and they were like covered whit 30 hits or more

Getting Pneuma has to be the most difficult part of the game, nothing that will get you killed but it's quite annoying.

Play on Hard Lv1 on a Newgame (not a Newgame+), the most difficult part of the game is Ruvas Forest and Skeleton Cave (Skeleton Cave is "easyer" if you use Fidelis Caries, but without F.Caries it is hard as hell >_>)

No doubt about it, it's the hardest challenge in the game, except for Pneuma. When I tried and failed for 10 minutes to get Pneuma I figured it wouldn't ever end.

Skeleton Cave is definitely a good place for challenge on Hard lvl1 Newgame. There's no other way to play Hard mode in my opinion. I tried it with New Game + and it's almost like repeating everything all over again, except you have almost everything (exceptions being paries, volaticus, magnes at first, etc). Great stuff!

1- Ruvas Forest

2- Skeleton Cave

3- Monastery (the first bat is the best ever XD)

The Monastery really gets you like that. 68 damage! WOW! that takes you down to less than half health with one hit!!!
