Ya, I know he was playing competition form which should have any personal stuff. And as a Chen style practitioner, I personally think Chen xiaowang's fajin is better, whereas, Chen zhenglei's form is smoother...

I thought the same from watching (I don´t know Chen Xiao Wang personally, hope to meet him in future too). But in last year, I saw a Fajin performance from Chen Zheng Lei and....wow. He has done it with every part of his body. He has done it with his chest...incredible.
