  • Hi Kati. I'm trying to find the proper pronunciation and meaning of a German phrase my family always uses to say goodbye. The phrase phonetically sounds like ("Shame brau varden"). My Opa was from Ehrbach, Bavaria, if that helps. Perhaps it is a regional saying. Danke.

  • Du rockst...;)

  • I like your lessons. It will be interesting for me studing german with your videos, Besides you are pretty :) Gesundheit!

  • So useful!!! thank you so much :)

    Maybe you could speak more German and put subtitles, so we hear it more and therefore learn more.. ? Just a suggestion ;)

  • Oh my gosh, thank you for making an acutal good video about how to speak German. The others were quite dispicable if I must say. You teach just like my old german teacher.

  • damn i cant concentrate..too SEXY

  • a woman out of legend

  • I liked it and I thought it was helpful.

  • sound hard imo hhihih hello would like me learn deutch :)

  • WO IST DIE TOILETTE =D

  • I think it's worth noting that there's a difference between "Wo" and "Woher/Wohin" that is confusing to English-speakers who would translate both as "Where."

    Wo = Where (In what place?)

    Woher = From Where?

    Wohin = To Where?

    These three adverbs would all be translated "where" in English. There used to be directional adverbs like "Whence" but they've fallen out of use in English. Most Indo-European languages keep this distinction though, like Russian Где vs. Куда.

  • thanks for the playlist

  • @BlueSpirals yes it means the same thing you can say "gern geschehen", "bitteschoen" or only "bittte"

  • You can also say 'Bitte' as 'Your welcome' or you can say 'Entschuldigung' as Excuse me AND I'm sorry. :D

  • goddamn du bist schoen.

  • so, "wo" and "woher" are pronounced with an "oo" sound? not with a "v"?

  • Ok, I know that this video was uploaded a long time ago but maybe you'll read this. It would be nice if you'd made pauses so that people could repeat the phrases without having to pause the video.

  • jesus some of those words were hilarious to pronounce, so many "sh" sounds going on. Good lesson though! It would be good if you spaced the words into syllables and then pronounced them quickly after as you would normally. I don't know why I'm learning German I just decided to. Danke!
