  • What are some suggestions as a substitute for the shrimp? My mum and sister LOVE hot & sour soup, buuut they're both allergic to shrimp and I'd very much like to cook this dish for them on Mother's Day.

  • @TaintedCandi How about mushrooms? Or tofu?

  • It's not Thai soup if you put Pepper. And you need more chiles. It's not red enough.

Keep up good work though !

  • White washed Tom Yum soup

  • Fantastic, love it

  • Sawasdee Kha (สวัสดีค่ะ) I'm Thai people and I love all of your videos!! I just started to cook and I really love your Ultimate Brownies :DDD Thanks for cooking our Tom Yam Kung! In Thailand we use a coconut cream (or evaporated milk) to make it thick and also some herbs such kaffir lime leaves, ginger, lemon grass, dried chili. However, your Tom Yam Kung looks so delicious, wanna try it :DD

  • are you muslim?- u say muslim's greeting

    I love your food

  • Titli your the best xxx

  • haha white people version.....can't handle the heat huh

  • @gueroda Maybe you should try my Chicken Phal recipe...

  • @gueroda I'm a white chick and I can handle the heat... "white people" version? what idiocracy. given, some white people are idiots... some dark skinned chickens are too. speak for yourself!

  • @gueroda wow what a racist comment.

  • To all these people saying it doesn't require pepper and complaining about her recipe, its a VARIATION of the soup. Not all recipes are the same and this is one of MANY ways to make it. Personally i would love to try this recipe because its quicker and much simpler than many other recipes i've seen.

  • @JaimieGamboa Now here's someone who understands cooking :-D

  • @TitliNihaan thank you ^^

and i actually tried my hand at tom yum goong however i didn't have any galangal :p

it was pretty flavorful and i used your recipe as a base :D

  • i've just made soup using spring onions, ginger, red chilli, garlic, lemon grass, fish souce, mushrooms, basil, coriander and tofu!!! it was amazing.. but i've been in the toilette several times shitting water!! could it be the red chilli?? it was very spicy!!!!

  • tom yum goong doesnt not require pepper!

  • im THAI,and i believe the soup is called "Tom-Yum-Kung"

  • love ur recepies, they r easy and great dish to make it without stress

  • Im a fan of your cooking vids and I'm from Thailand. :)

  • @gurlz8 2 qualités qui me font penser que vous êtes quelqu'un de très sympathique!

  • Titli try adding galanga or Thai Ginger in there as well and maybe 1 roma tomato; it will help the stock be more authentic and flavourful :)

  • When I lived in Thailand, I remember as a kid we had the hot and sour soup but it had squid and octopus instead of shrimp, and man was it hot. I was 6 years old at the time and I still remember that.
