Like most everyone, I've had plenty of good times with Red Stripe, but I've noticed that you pay a fairly premium price for a pretty average beer. I was thinking of the Michelob comparison before you even said it. I'll pay less for a better Michelob offering over RS nearly all the time. Love the RS painted bottles though. Great reviews, btw.

The best way to have a Red Stripe Beer, is ice cold. There are 3 types of Red Stripe Beer: Regular, Lite and Bold. My fav is the BOLD. It has twice the flavor and body, a higher alcohol content. The beer you're holding though is quite different from the beer on our local market. The local beer is half the size of the one you had. Try a BOLD next time!

With all the hot, humid, Southern summer lately, I've been drinking my share of lagers. Recently tried St. Pauli Girl Dark and Warsteiner Dunkel. Full Sail Brewery makes a better lager called Sessions. They recently came out with Sessions Black which is a very smooth dark lager. Also comes in the stubby bottle and only in 12pks. Lagers are boring but a black lager is the shit.

I never had red stripe b4 but I tryed there dragon stout 1-2 yrs ago something like 7.something % or 8. something but it didn;t taste anything lke beer thought. I could get a singale can of this beer to try but not yer 24oz bottle.

Hey Beer man Daven I was telling u that I had my first Red Stripe at the Age of 3 In Jamaica it was good because it was my 1rst beer LOOOOL. (no im not an alcoholic today)

BUT ANYWAY I was telling you to Try Brahma Brazilian Beer. Drink this when you are VERY thirsty. U will be in love its like Kissing a Brazilian chick lol. Its Light has a beautiful flowery smell. Yea It might not get you drunk immediately but U will have lovely smelling Breath from this Gold Colored Beer. BRAHMA I LOVE IT!
